A True Fan (End)

A soul hand lashed outward from the inside of Li Tian where the orb of Ren Zhu's fragmented soul was 99% absorbed. It cleaved through Li Tian's soulscape like a blade of memory and consequence, slashing deep into his essence.

The moment the soul hand slashed out, Li Tian, who was in his soul form, was shocked. His eyes reflected a stunned expression. "T-This... is not Ren Zhu."

He was about to force the orb of Ren Zhu out of his soul and recover, but he suddenly felt his own world essence being reversed—absorbed. Due to that, both soul cores began fusing. If Li Tian tried to remove his own world essence, it would be the same as ripping out his own heart—instant death. But if he left it, his world essence would be fully devoured, and his soul would cease to be his own.

Desperately, he pressured the essence in the orb to discern the truth. He saw the ten venerables... and Fang Yuan standing at the forefront. Behind them stood the ten children of Ren Zu. Ren Zhu himself was absent—dead. This shocked Li Tian. Those souls should've been fully gone, sacrificed to awaken Ren Zhu inside Fang Yuan's body. That process should've erased Fang Yuan.

Yet, Fang Yuan was alive.

"But how?" Li Tian murmured.

Then came the answer.

"Li Tian, from beginning to end, everything did go according to your plan. Just as you and Ren Zhu lack perfect mind paths, so do I. You thought I was your pawn. You created me with chaos dao marks, thinking you had control. You overlooked one thing—I was never meant to follow your path. When you walked toward the tree after planting the formation, those emotions you felt—have you wondered why? That was Star Constellation's doing. She implanted something into your soul ages ago, the day you first met her. You never found it, because any time you tried to inspect your soul, it would trigger memory loops, emotional distractions."

Fang Yuan's voice deepened.

"The other venerables? They struck a deal with Ren Zhu when he was still Heaven's Will. They didn't want the world to collapse. They agreed to sacrifice the children of Ren Zu, but not by killing themselves—only by severing the soul ties. Ren Zhu genuinely wanted to save the world, unlike you, who wished to swallow it whole into your blessed world. The world has no true owner anymore. In twenty years, it will collapse."

He continued, his voice like thunder.

"When Star Constellation merged with Heaven's will(Ren Zhu), they both planned, and then she told everything to Limitless using a fragment of will within Heavenly Court's chessboard. Limitless shared it with Genesis Lotus, Giant Sun, Reckless Demon—they all came to Heavenly Court through secret means. Their wills merged into me when Fate Gu was destroyed. I entered Ren Zhu's soul willingly. Did you think I'd be devoured in a breath, even possessing world essence? You missed that due to Star Constellation's will clouding your mind."

Fang Yuan's tone sharpened.

"They all thought I was playing the demon in this script. But the truth? I was never a pawn. From the beginning, I was the player. I don't care about this world. I only care about one thing—eternal life. So now... goodbye, Li Tian. It's your time to rest. Eternally."

Li Tian stood frozen as Fang Yuan's soul surged. The world essence was completely absorbed into Fang Yuan. Li Tian's soul consciousness flickered, fading.

But he laughed.

"You're too good, Fang Yuan. Even if you're my creation... Even if I didn't want you to succeed, I still hoped for it. Did you ever wonder how I knew your future so clearly? I received memories of a man named Levi Ashborn, from another world. He read your story—the one banned by that world's government. It angered me. Your story was too good. I didn't want to see it end in obscurity. So I created you from that novel. I gave you life—not as fiction, but as a continuation."

His smile was sad, and genuine.

"I liked your character. I was a fan. When I was alone, your novel was the only thing that showed me how the world really works. So go ahead, Fang Yuan. Take eternal life. Finish your story. That world couldn't see the ending... but I can. I'll watch it with my own eyes. I have no regrets. ."

And with that, Li Tian smiled for the last time, and faded into nothingness.

With that, Fang Yuan achieved true eternal life—not through prophecy or destiny, but through the unyielding path of solitude. He betrayed comrades, dismantled alliances, and walked a path lined with corpses and crumbling beliefs. He did not flinch. He did not falter. He had preserved till the end.

The world itself trembled as Fang Yuan, wrapped in silence, reached out with his soul. Mountains cracked, oceans froze mid-tide, and the sky dimmed as if mourning. One by one, the laws of the world crumbled and funneled into him. With ruthless precision, he compressed the Gu World—every mountain, river, soul, and memory—into a singular, pulsating core.

His blessed land.

And within that soul-forged dominion, Fang Yuan stood alone in the all of chaos space.

Finally acheiving True Eternal Life.

I don't know if you guys like it or not, but this type of ending was made just as I was writing. Actually, the ending I had in my mind was for LiTian to get killed and then for Fang Yuan to achieve eternal life, but not by giving up; rather, through a fight. However, it would ultimately end poorly, so I chose this one. If you think this is overkill, I don't care, as I wrote this as a way to express my thanks for the novel Reverend Insanity. It filled my emptiness and loneliness. I used to read it all day, even at 3 AM; that's how much I liked it. Even though LoTM was good and peaked my interest, my favorite will always be Reverend Insanity. I know my fanfic is not that great, but I thank everyone who supported me and read my fanfic throughout the time. And type some comment guys I want to how many read my fan fic, and how the ending is.

Next time, at the end of this month, I will be releasing my new original novel, which is inspired by Reverend Insanity and LOTM. So be sure to check it out. It will have many gruesome scenes, foreshadowing from the beginning, and perfect world-building at a medium pace. If you don't like any of these things then you don't need to read it. It is your wish.

And finally, thank you once again for reading my fan fic. I enjoyed my time.
