The gate was vast. The higher the level, the wider it became, and it stood tall among the highest gates. There were those as ignorant as the continents, and it was a part of why a superpower like the United States had kept an Alaskan gate open for years. As long as there was a gate, humanity didn't have to worry about resources.

Six white wolves burst out of the air in a torrential downpour. Their blood and flesh poured down like rain. The sight of the once-pure white snowfield being soiled by the stinking corpses of demons was now quite familiar. 

However, because Leo had been holding the hilt of the sword tightly for so long, the blisters on his palm and the stinging sensation never seemed to ease.
