The Battle For Xerzes

The realm of Xerzes stood defiant beneath an ashen sky, its once-brilliant golden sun now dimmed by the creeping taint of the influence of Xal'dar's army. Yet, even under the ominous glow, the realm remained breathtaking—an expanse of towering marble citadels, sprawling green valleys, and great fortress cities carved into the very bones of the land itself.

Xerzes was a realm inhabited and ruled by Minotaurs, but unlike the savage, twisted monstrosities that Xal’dar had corrupted, these minotaurs were beings of culture, strength, and unyielding honor. Their kingdoms, each governed by a different Minotaur ruler, had long prospered in peace. Now, however, they had united, gathering their legions of warriors beneath banners embroidered with symbols of war and ancient oaths.

For today, their world stood on the precipice of destruction as a violent shudder split the heavens.

The air grew thick, charged with an unnatural energy, and then—the sky was torn asunder.
