Currently, Ashok was sharing nearly all of his emotions (99.99...%) while Morrathis was sharing not even one percent(0.00....1%). The emotion sharing did not mean that Morrathis would directly experience Ashok's emotions—she would not feel his pain, joy, or anger as he did. That level of emotional empathy could not be achieved with the current percentage sharing. At this stage, it could be said that Ashok was lending his emotions to Morrathis, without any true reciprocation.
The immense difference in the percentage sharing was driven by two reasons. The first was the vast difference in their power. The second reason for this imbalance was Ashok himself, who wanted it this way from the start. As the initiator and the weaker one of their soul bond, Ashok gets a few advantages in their bond that are not known to anyone, neither the World nor Morrathis. One of those few advantages was that Ashok could decide what would be shared just like how he chose emotion after the soul bond was made.
'Once the sharing percentage reaches 50%: 50%, then I can even use her Divine Authorities without any repercussions. That is the true power of our Soul Bond.
However, I need to drink the Divine Elixir of Serenity before I decide to increase her sharing to even one percent. The sharing is mutual, even though I hold slight benefits over her as the initiator. That mutuality is also the reason why I don't want the percentage to rise soon.
Morrathis's emotions are corrupted, but more than that, she has a thirst. A thirst for revenge, which in itself is a powerful emotion. If I were to bear the weight of millennia of her pent-up vengeance, I would lose myself in it, consumed by it.
To prevent that from happening, I need to first obtain the Divine Elixir of Serenity or get the Mind Resistance Trait at its Absolute Grade. Only then will I be able to handle the emotional torrent she would send my way without succumbing to it.' thought Ashok.
Ashok's focus shifted to the two new Soul Traits. A soul typically only had one, but for some reason, his soul possessed two—an anomaly that intrigued him. Soul Traits were unique, as they came without descriptions or explanations. The user could instinctively feel and use them, as they were intrinsically tied to their soul itself.
Both the Traits and the Soul Trait grew stronger the more they were used, making them dynamic and evolving as their power was harnessed.
Ashok immediately recognized by instinct that Gravity was his Trait, that belonged to his soul. "Hehe! Now this is what you call a Unique Trait," he mused. "if I am not wrong, nobody in the game possessed the power of Gravity, not even the Best Mages of Earth Affinity. Which would mean I'm currently the sole user of Gravity in the World."
As for the Inventory, Ashok didn't feel the same connection to it as he did with Gravity. He could instinctively tell that this Soul Trait wasn't originally his—it wasn't as deeply tied to his essence. Instead, it felt more like it had been connected to his soul rather than naturally belonging to it. He recalled the small ball of light Morrathis had thrown at him, dismissing it as useless. That ball of light was the Inventory Soul Trait.
Unlike Gravity, Ashok had a strong feeling that the Inventory Trait would never evolve or grow stronger.
"It never truly belonged to me, though I will still use it. After all, which husband rejects a gift from his wife?" Ashok thought with a sly smile on his face.
Then came the Traits. Ashok opened their description one after another.
