"Ha!" Ashok exhaled with a bitter chuckle, thinking 'Even the World wants to watch me suffer at this point. It could have given me that Self-obsessed Narcissist Trait but it intentionally gave me this attention seeker False Monarch trait, like it's some twisted joke. To top it off, it aligns perfectly with the Blessing, as if the two are tailor-made to mock me.'
Blessing of Charisma
Grade: Divine
Description: The Blessing granted to the user by [???] to compensate for the Cursed One Trait.
Effect: The User's Charisma Stat breaks the Human Limits permanently and achieves the Rank of Ascended. Grants complete Immunity to any form of Physical Domination and the all-time passive skill [Ascender's Pride].
[Ascender's Pride] – The user exudes an intangible, indomitable pressure akin to that of an Ascended Ranker, dominating and suppressing any other presence.
Note: The User's Body is unable to wield the full effect of the Blessing. The Effect of both the Blessing and the Passive Skill is temporarily sealed to the level, the body can handle which is SS+ Rank. The Seal will be temporarily released when the User finds himself in a situation that counters the Nature of the Blessing.
'HAHA! I was never wrong, Morrathis must be the most beautiful God in existence if she can bestow such a Blessing of Charisma. Even the Succubus Queen, the Sin of Lust, cannot grant a Blessing that surpasses the limits of a Stat, not even to her own kind. And to think, she will be the one behind the fall of one of the Seraphim(Highest Ranked Angel in Heaven) in the future.
But there is time for that event to unfold.
This body of mine can't even wield the Blessing at its full potential. Well, I can understand the reason for that.'
Ashok stepped toward the fallen glass shard and picked it up with the cloth. He held it at the perfect angle, peering into the small, fractured reflection it offered. His face, as he expected, had barely changed—it was still the same, nothing noticeably different from before. If there was any shift at all, it was subtle.
He appeared as if he'd just stepped out of a luxurious shower routine, his skin clear and soft, supple like a newborn's. Yet, despite the refined appearance, there was no aura of divine perfection. No, Ashok didn't resemble some awe-inspiring Greek god—just a man, well-groomed and perhaps a bit too polished, but still unmistakably human.
'Well,' Ashok thought, his gaze still fixed on his reflection in the shard, 'the Blessing isn't some kind of Body Reconstruction that shatters and reforms the body to its ideal form and potential. The Charisma Stat doesn't quite work like that.'
The Charisma Stat was present only in the Status of Males. For females, it took on a different name—Charm, but the essence was largely the same, though some differences could be seen in the skills or spells that each was paired with.
Charisma, is far more than just a measure of beauty. Sure, the higher the Charisma, the more striking the individual appeared, but that was only a small part of it. It was a broader, more complex trait, encompassing a wide range of hidden stats like Leadership, Inspiration, Speech, Fascination, Presence, etc. A sum of all these factors made the Charisma. It was not merely a measure of outward appearance, but an internal force that shaped the way others perceived and reacted to the individual.
In simple terms, Charisma draws the attention of those around the user, elevating them above everyone else. For example, someone with a high Charisma Stat could speak, and their voice would be heard clearly, even in the middle of a crowd of a hundred people shouting. It's all about commanding presence and making sure the user stands out.
While Charisma excels at attracting attention and creating an aura of importance, it doesn't have quite the same effect when it comes to seduction, which is more the domain of Charm.
Charm is more focused on subtle influence and allure, making it superior in situations where attraction and desire are key. So, while both share similarities, each has its own unique strength.
Another instance is one where the same Blessing is bestowed upon someone whose face is scarred, deeply marked by battle or hardship. Does that mean the Blessing would be ineffective in his case? No! Instead, the scars would become his center point of attraction. While he might not win the favor of some women despite his high Charisma, his appeal would soar among mercenaries or those who enjoy fighting and bloodshed.
In Ashok's case, the Blessing isn't sealed simply because of beauty. It's sealed due to a combination of factors, including beauty, but more crucially because of his body's current limitations. His vessel is too small to fully contain the power of an Ascended Rank Charisma. It could be concluded that with the Blessing, Ashok wouldn't be beautiful in the conventional sense, but he would always be at his best—presentable state regardless of the time or place.
'To think that the sense of complete control I was feeling just now was nothing more than the influence of my Presence. It was a feeling like no other—one that couldn't possibly be replicated in a PC game. Is this what it feels like to be an SS+ Ranker? Then what must it be like to be an Ascended?'
In this world, an individual's rank is primarily determined by the strength of their core—either their Mana Core or Aura Core. Those who focus on long-range combat, like Mages, Warlocks, and similar classes, typically rely on the Mana Core to define their rank. On the other hand, close combat warriors—Swordsmen, Spearmen, Monk, etc. define their rank from the power of their Aura Core.
For Support Classes, such as Priests and Paladins, the situation is a bit more complex. These classes possess an extra stat Divine Energy, and either a Mana Core or Aura Core, depending on their class focus. In their case, the rank is determined by whichever of these energies in their body—Mana, Aura, or Divine Energy—is the most powerful.
The Ranks of the World in ascending order are:
F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS
Each rank will be further divided into Two sub-ranks to further differentiate the strength of individuals within the same rank.
However, among the highest rankers, a rare few have managed to break through the existing limitations of the World's ranking system. These exceptional individuals transcend the established boundaries, achieving a status known as the Ascended, or more commonly, Demigods.
