Chapter 66: C3 Reinforced Flesh Mountain

The fishlike form of Kisame phased through Obito's body, but Obito swiftly retaliated, spinning around and reaching for Kisame's shoulder.

"Kisame, watch out!"

"If he grabs you, you'll be dragged into the Kamui dimension!" Deidara shouted, his voice sharp with urgency.

"Relax, I'm not that easy to handle!" Kisame replied, his distinct, confident tone cutting through the chaos.

With a quick motion, he summoned a massive water shark, which lunged at both himself and Obito, forcing Obito—whose hand was already brushing Kisame's shoulder—to remain intangible to avoid being pulled into its maw.

The swirling water closed in, a torrent filled with countless sharks and clay creatures darting about. Deidara frowned slightly.

Kamui was too broken—no wonder in the original story, Obito stuck with one Rinnegan despite having access to two. Dual Rinnegan was formidable, but Kamui combined with even one Rinnegan was near invincible.

Without Kakashi's Kamui counterbalance, Obito was almost unbeatable. Continuous attacks to overwhelm his intangibility limit weren't feasible anymore, especially now that his Rinnegan-enhanced strength made him an even greater threat. If he wanted, Obito could just cycle between Kamui and Shinra Tensei endlessly, making him an absolute nightmare to deal with.

"Out of options already?" Obito sneered. "If that's the case, let me show you something."

"Let's start by breaking this pesky water prison, shall we?"

Obito clasped his hands together, his chakra surging ominously.

Super Shinra Tensei!

The massive water sphere expanded violently before bursting apart, sending torrents crashing down like a deluge from the heavens. The shockwave devastated everything in the vicinity.

Though Deidara and the others were a fair distance away, they were still struck by the impact, as if slammed into by an invisible wall. It felt like their organs might rupture. Deidara, however, managed to avoid serious injury by swiftly transforming part of his body into clay to absorb the blow.

After forcing the group back, Obito quickly weaved hand signs and slammed his hand onto the ground.

Summoning Jutsu!

A series of massive creatures materialized: the Hellhound, Giant Crab, Chameleon, Rhino, Centipede, Bull, and a grotesque Bird—each one enhanced by the Rinnegan, their strength far beyond normal.

"This... is a problem," Deidara muttered, eyes narrowing.

"Can't the boss reclaim control of these summons?" Kisame, now standing and bleeding slightly from his mouth, glanced toward Nagato. Having dispelled his fusion with Samehada, he looked battered but unbroken—his durable body weathering the Super Shinra Tensei better than most.

Nagato's face flushed slightly, embarrassment tinging his usually stoic expression.

"Not right now. My Rinnegan abilities are focused on maintaining Tendo's battle. I can't wrest control of the summons from that mysterious man at the moment."

"Troublesome," Kisame muttered. "I'm tough, but even I have limits, you know."

"Leave it to me," Deidara said, his tone confident. "My art isn't just for show."

With a flourish, he spat out a mass of clay, molding it into a lumpy blob. Tossing it to the ground, he infused it with chakra, and it began expanding rapidly, growing into a mountain-sized monstrosity.

The sheer size was staggering—it dwarfed even the tailed beasts, standing as a towering colossus in the battlefield.

"Deidara, what is this thing?!" Kisame gaped, unable to hide his astonishment.

"My masterpiece: C3 Reinforced Flesh Mountain!" Deidara panted slightly, his chakra reserves depleted significantly. The clay creature was aptly named, its size and power reminiscent of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, albeit smaller than the Ten-Tails itself.

With a thunderous crash, one of Flesh Mountain's massive tentacles lashed out, sending the Hellhound hurtling through the air. More tentacles extended, wrapping around the Rhino, Centipede, and Bull, binding them tightly.

Then, with a series of grotesque movements, Flesh Mountain revealed three massive openings across its body. From within, it launched enormous clay projectiles, each akin to a tailed beast bomb, directly at the captured summons.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The explosions obliterated the summons in an instant, reducing them to ash.

"What is this monstrosity?!" Obito's eyes widened in shock as he immediately prepared to act.

Super Bansho Ten'in!

The remaining summons rushed toward Flesh Mountain, with Obito using the gravitational pull of Bansho Ten'in to interfere with its movements.

"Get up!" Obito roared, veins bulging at his temples as he pushed his Rinnegan to its limits. The titanic Flesh Mountain began to roll across the battlefield, its tentacles thrashing wildly but unable to maintain precision under Obito's relentless assault.

"Paper Shuriken Jutsu!"

"Water Style: Water Severing Wave!"

Konan and Kisame launched attacks to break Obito's concentration, but Deidara wasn't fazed.

"Never underestimate my art!" Deidara grinned, forming a hand sign.

"Flesh Mountain, Volcanic Eruption!"

With a low rumble, Flesh Mountain swelled ominously. Small vents appeared all over its body, releasing bursts of high-temperature gases and shockwaves, creating an effect akin to a volcanic eruption. The explosive force unleashed a devastating wave of destruction across the battlefield.

Obito's face darkened as he was forced to cancel his technique and retreat into the Kamui dimension. The remaining summons had no such luxury—they were annihilated, obliterated by the catastrophic eruption.

Damn it! This brat's improving too quickly!

Watching the battlefield littered with the remnants of his carefully planned assault, Obito clenched his teeth. With grim determination, he activated his trump card, forming a small, pitch-black sphere in his hands.
