Kitaro found a corner to sit down in, and Mira quickly brought over some food and drinks to his table.
"How much is it?" he asked.
"No need! Consider it on the house—a little welcome gift for our new member," Mira said with a playful wink, making Kitaro find her absolutely adorable.
He chuckled and replied, "Thanks a lot! My name's Uchiha Kitaro. What about you?"
"I'm Mirajane Strauss, but just call me Mira," she said with a warm smile.
Just as Kitaro was about to continue chatting with her—
"Mira! Three beers over here!"
"Alright, alright! Someone's calling me. Enjoy your meal!" she said, hurrying off with a tray of beers.
"Miraaa!"
"Coming, coming! What's up?"
Wakaba took a drag from his cigarette, exhaling a smoke ring that floated into the shape of a heart.
"Go on a date with me next time!"
"Hey! You beat me to it!" another guild member shouted.
Mira frowned. "Really, Wakaba? Again with this?"
Bam!
Mira activated her transformation magic, morphing into a chubby middle-aged woman. "Don't you already have a wife?" she said sternly.
Seeing this all-too-familiar yet terrifying figure, Wakaba immediately burst into tears. "Aaaaah! Don't turn into my wife, please!"
Suddenly, the guild doors flew open with a loud bang. A pink-haired young man with a scarf around his neck strode in, shouting, "I'm back!!!"
"Yo! Happy is back too," a small blue cat said, raising a paw.
Mira's face lit up. "Natsu! Happy! Welcome back!"
"Ha-ha-ha! Looks like you've stirred up trouble again. That incident at Hargeon Port even made the news…" said a man, laughing loudly.
Before he could finish, a foot appeared right in front of his face.
Pow!
Natsu sent him flying with a kick. "You bastard! That lead about the Fire Dragon was fake!!"
The man protested, "How was I supposed to know it was fake? I only heard rumors!"
Natsu ignored him and kept chasing him down.
Kitaro immediately recognized Natsu as the protagonist of Fairy Tail. And following closely behind him was a cute blonde girl—Lucy, the female lead of the series.
"Wait a minute," Kitaro thought. "Is this the start of the storyline again?"
"Come to think of it, every time I've crossed over—like with Demon Slayer and One Piece—it's always at the beginning of the story."
"So… is it only when the plot begins that I can cross over?"
As Kitaro pondered this, chaos erupted in the guild. Bottles flew everywhere, and a few even came his way. He casually tilted his head to dodge them.
"Ugh, this noise is driving me crazy! Can't even drink in peace! You guys… CUT IT OUT!"
Cana slammed a card down, ready to cast a spell.
Kitaro's eyes lit up. He was eager to study the mechanics of magic in this world.
"I'm also pissed off!" Gray clenched one fist into the palm of his other hand, cold mist emanating from it.
"RAAAAWR!!" Elfman roared as his right arm began transforming.
Seeing everyone getting ready to throw down, Natsu lit his hands on fire, grinning wildly. "Bring it on!!!"
"Are they seriously going to use magic here?!" Lucy gasped, her face pale. Magic's destructive power was no joke, and this place was full of mages. Who knows how much damage they'd cause?
"This isn't good…" Mira murmured anxiously.
Suddenly—
"Enough! All of you, stop right now."
A booming voice echoed through the guild.
"You deaf or something, you idiots?!"
A massive figure appeared in the middle of the guild hall.
"SO HUGE!" Lucy yelped, startled by the towering figure.
Kitaro immediately recognized him: Makarov, the guild master of Fairy Tail.
Unlike the Third Hokage's fake righteousness, Makarov genuinely cared for his guild members like a father. He was just as selfless as Whitebeard when it came to his people.
The brawlers all stopped, though many still looked defiant.
Mira stepped forward. "Guild Master! Welcome back!"
"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! You're all scared stiff, huh? Guess that means I win this fight…"
Natsu laughed smugly, hands on his hips.
Smack!
Before he could finish, Makarov stomped him into the ground.
Noticing Lucy, Makarov asked, "Hmm… A newcomer?"
"Y-Yes…" Lucy stammered, trembling.
Then, in an instant, Makarov's massive form shrank, and he transformed into a tiny old man barely a meter tall. Lucy was dumbfounded.
"So… small!"
"Nice to meet ya! Cheers!" Makarov waved cheerfully, then leaped into the air, flipping a few times before landing on the second-floor railing.
"You've caused me trouble again, haven't you? Look at all the complaints the Council sent over!" he scolded, holding up a pile of documents.
"First off… Gray!"
"Huh?" Gray looked offended. He prided himself on being professional, so why would the Council mention him?
"You did fine catching those smugglers, but why were you wandering the streets naked afterward? And stealing someone's underwear off their clothesline?!"
Gray flushed with embarrassment. "Uh… yeah, maybe being naked wasn't great…"
Elfman chimed in, "Then don't strip, idiot."
Makarov turned to Elfman. "And you! Using violence on the client you were supposed to protect during a mission?"
Elfman scratched his cheek awkwardly.
"And Cana Alberona! Faking expenses to drink 15 barrels of booze at some tavern—and billing it to the Council!"
"…They caught me?" Cana muttered sheepishly.
"Loke! Flirting with a Councilman's granddaughter?"
"…."
