Ninjutsu vs. Magic

— — — — — — —

One move... and another move...

Natsu and Gray felt completely numb.

They had thought Uchiha Kitaro had already shown his full strength, but now they realized—that was just a fraction of his power.

Suddenly!

Boom!

A surge of overwhelming magical energy erupted from the ruins of the Phantom Lord Guild.

"What the—?!"

The members of Fairy Tail felt a shiver run through their bodies as they sensed the dark, oppressive magic in the air.

"This magic... it's so evil..."

"Yeah! Just feeling it makes me want to throw up!"

Everyone turned toward the ruins of the Phantom Lord Guild and saw a middle-aged man standing amidst the wreckage. His very presence radiated a sinister aura. Behind him stood several Phantom Lord mages.

"That guy... is he the master of Phantom Lord? One of the Ten Wizard Saints, just like our old man..."

The Ten Wizard Saints were the strongest mages recognized across the entire continent by the Magic Council. Only ten were chosen, each one a monster in their own right, far beyond the abilities of ordinary mages.

Seeing him appear, many members of Fairy Tail couldn't help but feel a deep sense of fear.

"Uchiha... Kitaro, was it? I never expected Fairy Tail to have someone as powerful as you among all these useless weaklings."

"But... that just makes me want to destroy you even more. If someone like you were to die, Makarov would be absolutely devastated."

Kitaro didn't bother with any more words. He simply stepped forward.

"Kitaro... don't go! He's trying to provoke you!"

Kitaro tilted his head in confusion. "Provoke me? I'm not angry. I just plan on dealing with them."

"He's one of the Ten Wizard Saints!"

The title alone carried immense weight. Out of all the mages on the continent, only ten were deemed worthy of that rank. Each one was a force of nature, far beyond ordinary mages.

Even if Kitaro was strong, could he really take on one of them?

Kitaro simply smiled confidently. "I know. But don't worry—he's no match for me."

His unwavering confidence was infectious, and the members of Fairy Tail found themselves believing in him.

Kitaro continued walking forward. When he reached the lake's edge, he stepped onto the water.

Yet he didn't sink.

He walked across the surface as if it were solid ground.

"What?!"

"Kitaro is standing on the water!!"

"How is he doing that?!"

The Fairy Tail members were stunned. Natsu, in particular, was envious—if he could walk on water, he wouldn't have to suffer through boat rides ever again.

The remaining Phantom Lord members were equally shocked.

"Kitaro, you have some interesting tricks. But in front of the Ten Wizard Saints, these little parlor tricks are useless."

"You have no idea how vast the difference is between a mere mage like you and a true Wizard Saint."

"Leave this brat to me. The rest of you—kill everyone in Fairy Tail! Leave no one alive!"

"Yes, sir!"

Kitaro frowned and quickly formed hand seals.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Jutsu!"

The lake's surface began to churn violently as a massive water dragon rose up around Kitaro.

"It's huge!"

The Fairy Tail members were in awe. Whether it was the massive Rasengan from earlier or this water dragon, Kitaro's techniques were beyond anything they had ever seen.

And this wasn't even the kind of water magic they were familiar with.

The water dragon roared and charged straight at Jose.

Jose's expression twisted. Just how much magic power did this brat have?!

"Damn brat!!"

Dead Wave!"

Jose formed a powerful magic blast in his hands and fired it at the incoming water dragon.

Boom!

The attacks collided, sending shockwaves rippling outward. A thick mist spread across the battlefield.

Jose swung his arm, unleashing a barrage of dark, ghostly magic arrows toward Kitaro.

"Water Style: Water Formation Wall!"

Kitaro quickly formed hand seals, and a towering wall of water surged up around him, blocking the incoming arrows.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The ghostly arrows slammed into the water barrier but failed to break through.

Kitaro swiftly formed another set of hand seals.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

A massive fireball, nearly five meters in diameter, erupted from Kitaro's mouth, roaring toward Jose.

"He... he just breathed fire?!"

The Phantom Lord members were dumbfounded. They had never seen a mage who could breathe fire like that, especially on such a massive scale.

Natsu's eyes lit up with excitement. He felt a strange sense of kinship—after all, he also breathed fire.

"Dark Pulse!"

Jose countered with a swirling blast of dark magic.

Boom!

The two attacks collided, creating a fiery explosion in the air.

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!"

From Kitaro's mouth emerged a massive, blazing fire dragon.

"A dragon?!"

The Fairy Tail members gasped in shock.

Natsu's eyes sparkled with admiration. He had a special love for dragons—after all, his father, Igneel, was one. And Kitaro's fire dragon? It was just too damn cool. To Natsu, this was the ultimate magic.

"Damn brat! You just don't stop!!"

Jose was beginning to panic. Just who was this kid?! Did he have unlimited magic power or something?!

He was one of the Ten Wizard Saints! And yet this brat was standing toe-to-toe with him, unleashing one powerful attack after another. It was absolutely ridiculous!

But despite his fury, he didn't dare let his guard down.

Because every one of Kitaro's attacks carried devastating power.
