Teachings {1}

Author's Notes: My novels are connected in a shared universe and in a specific timeline and arcs. This novel can be called Present Arc which is the middle arc in the timeline. There are trilogies in each arc. Past and Future Arc. There will be stand alone novels too but they're posted on separate websites and I send the link in my discord and WN. I've to complete a lot of novels in the short period of time that I'm living. My first 3 Original novels will cover the present arc. Except for the Pokémon Fan Fiction will also connect in my own Shared Universe. All will have Manipulator MC which I enjoy writing more and more. I'll keep working on completing more Quantity Novels in the future. After each novel I'll take more months in order to write outlines for my new novels. Yeah. I need to have a solid pan before I begin my work. I'm sorry for putting more notes. But It'd soon become a habit to put below the chapters.

…..

"Mr. Daris Darkhold!" The voice of the academy instructor crossed my ears.

The owner of this voice had a stern tone. He called out my attendance while sharply looking at me. The instructor's appearance was extremely handsome, with curly green hair wriggling around his neck, his green coloured iris concealed by his green cooling glass. He'd worn a white blue uniform with yellow runic patterns stitched on all of his attire. He closed the book in his hand, and waved his fingers towards himself. I stood up from my seat and walked towards him.

I was the only student in this classroom, it was empty without any other students sitting on the luxurious seats. Classroom had a huge hall with white coloured ceiling with brown wood furniture decorated here. The middle wooden desk was filled with books, charts, runic stones and attendance books. In the hall, there were also candles which were put off for now and glowing runic inscriptions arranged in each corner. The reason, this is black magic section class where no particular students could be found having talent for this magic. Hence, the class was empty without any students to compete with. I reached before the instructor, he calmly looked at me.

"Mr. Daris, it's said that you're the only student who'd the talent of black magic since the previous 100 years. Kid, show me your full potential!" He smirked at me, placing his left hand on his face. He was my magic instructor from onwards.

"Ok. Sir." I acted like a normal obedient child. I used my mana to inject my magic from my palm.

The black red coloured flames emerged from my palms out of nowhere. It burned like a wildfire, lighting up to my forehead. It wasn't my full power but it was enough for him. The black red colours started to gleam all over the walls of the room. The temperature in the room accelerated a lot. From the fire's light had kept a long shadow of the instructor and me over the ground. It ignited the hidden passion in the instructor.

He'd smiled fanatically. Perhaps he might be thinking, he himself is one the few he could master the strongest magic in the world. But he wasn't like him. To meet someone who could surpass himself was a strong motivation which could propel him to become strong again. Not to mention, this kid is just a 7 year old boy.

"High Scale Soul Affinity!" He can't stop smiling like a maniac. He clearly sensed my aura.

"Yes. Sir, can I put off my magic now?" I asked, sweating off from the heat of the magic.

"Yeah. Kid, you're one of a kind, you know?" He patted my shoulders.

"Ok." I was unaffected by the praise. Even if I'm talented, it doesn't matter. I need rigorous training to conjure my magic properly.

In your life, there will be a lot of people who are more talented than you. But don't be discouraged by their proficiency in their skills. It's due to their hard work and practice that they could get hang of their so-called talent. It is merely the long hard preparation from their back life. Your only job is here to practice and prepare more for mastering anyone skill for your life. Talent isn't enough but the smart work to harness the talent to express it into fruition.

"Now you can." He smiled at me. "As a proof for yourself. I'll show my magic to you."

He snapped his finger at an instant, the edge of his index finger an incineration of flame appeared. It was bigger than my flame. It had a denser black red magic compared to my thin black red magic.

I was partially shocked by this revelation.

"I don't have a high scale talent but rather the medium scale. Yet, I'm stronger than you kid." He smiled.

"It doesn't matter how talented you are, kid. In nurturing the magic needs sheer will and smart work. Always remember it." He quoted. "Which spells can you use now? I'm pretty sure that you're able to cast great spells by yourself like Dark Avalanche & the Black gauntlet right?" He inquired squatting on the ground to look straight at my tiny eyes.

"Yes Sir, I can use those spells easily." I smiled back.

"But you're using low level spells and compared to the medium level spells I'm using it is still inferior, you'll need more training in using advanced spells and fighting methods to fight with other students in this academy!" He gripped my shoulder with more force.

"Ok!" I exclaimed like a 7 year old child.

"Even if you're from a peasant family, you'll need a lot of friends and rivals to battle with them." So I have to adapt with the minds of this bunch of kids. I'll start to have friends to have successfully exit from this academy for good.

"Lastly, beware of the people in this academy. They're hell of manipulative bastards, so don't trust anyone you meet including me. "

"And hide your talents, I'm telling you out of this because you're a black magic user. Try to blend in with the crowd." I found his eyes became cold in an instant and warned me to be careful even against himself.

I nodded and smiled like a maniac.

'It is just like the previous life on the earth. The Games Of Deceptions are also this world. It'd be a fun game to play against the mages and the strongest people will dance under my palm.'
