A Clue

Despite his silence, Yueul wasn’t bothered.

He had seen many anthropomorphs like this before.

Rather than forcing them to talk, it was best to wait until they felt comfortable enough to speak.

Yueul had learned this after caring for many anthropomorphs who were hurt and scarred, both physically and emotionally.

“If you can speak, let us know what happened when you’re ready. Even though my team leader looks quite scary and may act a bit harsh, he’s really good at his job. Heck with it, even I’m a bit scared with him, too... But if you tell him what you’ve been through, I’m sure he’ll do whatever it takes to help you out. He’s a black mamba, so his bite is no joke. He’ll probably take down everyone involved to your suffering.”

Yueul chuckled softly.

Outside, Wooheon frowned.

Since Yueul had been speaking quietly at first, Wooheon hadn’t caught everything.

But the part he did hear—“my team leader looks quite scary may act a bit harsh”—was crystal clear.
