The First Word

He left the examination room and stood in front of the shower room where Yueul and the wolf anthropomorph had gone.

He glanced at the staff standing nearby and crossed his arms in his usual crooked posture.

“Are they the only two inside?”

“...Yes.”

“I’ll handle it from here. Go tend to the other anthropomorphs. I’ll call you if I need help later.”

The staff, noticing the shadowed expression on Wooheon’s face, quickly left the room.

Wooheon frowned at the voices coming from inside the shower room, tilting his head slightly.

Reaching out, he cracked open the tightly shut door.

Faint voices echoed into his ears.

‘Let’s see how this goes.’

Wooheon clenched his jaw, biting his lip as his expression hardened.

Inside the shower room, Yueul peeled off his sweat-soaked T-shirt.

Noticing the wolf anthropomorph’s gaze scanning him, he let out an awkward laugh.
