"Dwight.. Can you please stop calling me, Mama? I don't want to lose my job. If your father fires me, I can't possibly go back to school." Raven is now laying beside Dwight in the bed.

He doesn't know how they went back upstairs but he still feels the chilling energy from his boss. He knows that Xavier is mad.

"Mama.." Dwight answered innocently before snuggling into his chest.

Raven let out a deep breath before gently patting the boy's legs to sleep. Did Dwight call Edward Mama too? He doesn't, right? Because if he did, there is no Edward working for Xavier at this time.

A few moments later, Dwight was already asleep. Raven slowly got up to get off the bed. He then raised a foot-high barrier to the side of the bed to prevent Dwight from possibly falling to the floor. Although the bed is low, it's obvious how protective Xavier is of his son.

After making sure that Dwight was fast asleep, Raven went out and headed to his own room to organize his things. He's only been in the mansion for a few hours but a lot has happened.

"We'll talk later when I get back."

Raven was horrified to remember Xavier's words before leaving. John is right, Xavier is very strict. He's a cold-blooded Alpha.

He just hope the man doesn't fire him. It's okay even if Xavier scolds him, just don't fire him.

He stopped organizing his things when his cellphone rang. Unknown number. He quickly answered it.

"Hello?"

"Mr. Salvador, this is Edward. I'm just letting you know my number."

"Oh! Thank you. Dwight is sleeping now, Secretary Edward." Raven wet his lips before continuing what he was doing.

"That's great. By the way, does Dwight really want to call you Mama?"

Raven paused. He then took a deep breath. "Yes. I actually talked to him before he fell asleep, but he still insisted on calling me Mama. Sir Edward, please tell Mr. Vaughn, it doesn't what I want. Please don't fire me."

"I'll tell him that, don't worry. I'll go now. Please take care of the Boss's child."

"Okay, thanks." Raven answered sadly.

The call ended and he continued to do his work. Just as he finished, he lay down on the bed and closed his eyes. He didn't realize that he also fell asleep. And he just woke up when he felt something heavy on his chest.

His brows twitched before opening his eyes.

"Mama!" Dwight happily greeted him.

"Dwight.. How did you enter my room? Wait, how did you come out of your room?" He asked the little boy in wonder.

Raven glanced at his wristwatch. 3:00 in the afternoon. He slowly got up while not removing Dwight from his chest. He then left the room to go to Dwight's room. How could he be careless on his first day of work?

What if Dwight ran down the stairs, and he fell?

Raven was just thinking about the possibilities, and he was immediately terrified. He'll die for sure when that happens.

"Raven, I'm sorry if I opened your room without your permission, little sir Dwight asked me to open it." It's Elena. She's currently cleaning Dwight's room.

Raven breathed a sigh of relief before nodding. "It's alright, I understand. I am honestly worried for the possibilities that he might be in danger if you weren't around."

"No, no. It's alright. I understand that you're also tired." Elena said while smiling.

Raven touches his neck before smiling back. He then excuses himself to bring Dwight outside of the house. Even though he just woke up, he wants to go out and see the garden outside.

He gently placed down Dwight off when they reached the beautiful flower garden. The child starts playing while he's just watching him. He then suddenly took his phone and was about to take photos of Dwight when he saw a message notification. He reads it.

John: How's your work? Mr. Secretary took your clothes from home and told me that you'll be living there for a month.

Raven: it's good so far. The little boss is cute. And yes, I'll be living here until the enrollment.

Just as he finished replying. He starts taking photos of Dwight. He just stopped when a message arrived.

John: I actually don't want to tell you this but, I'd like you to be aware. The son of one of the Alpha who did horrible things to you, arrived this morning. And I heard, he's also an alpha.

When Raven read that, his blood turned cold. What if that person looks for him? Or what if he helped his father out of prison?

John: Don't be scared. I'm sure he'll not go after you.

Raven: How can you be so sure?

John: ... I'm sorry.

Raven put the cellphone back in his pocket and chose to keep an eye on Dwight. If that suspect's son finds him and also tried to do horrible things to him, he can just report it to the authorities. But it's actually making him anxious.

Meanwhile, in prison.

"Damn it! You called me just to help you out of this cell?! Robin, I'm fucking living happily abroad! Why do I have to see you in this situation?!" A woman wearing luxurious brand, is now talking to Robin.

She looks elegant yet have the similarities to Robin.

"Well, I won't be in this situation if you only brought me with you, mother! You found a new husband but you forgot that you have a son!" Robin answered angrily.

"You bastard! You're the one who doesn't want to go with me in the first place!" The woman got angrier.

"Oh shut up already! Just help me this once. And after that, go back to where you came from, I won't ask your help again. I just have something to finish before following you abroad." Robin said seriously and meaningfully.

He even cracked his fingers joint while clenching his jaws. The woman on the other hand, took a deep breath before touching her glabella. She's Robin's mother. She left the country when her new husband decided to live abroad. She tried to bring Robin with her but her son is so stubborn.

She heard that he found a wife, and thought he finally matured, but the news surprised her. She couldn't believe that her son can actually do the things that even an animal wouldn't.

"I'll help you if you promise me that you'll come with me." The woman said before standing up.

"Yeah, I promise. So hurry up. Free me." Robin said while grinning evilly.

He won't allow that bastard Raven to live peacefully after what he did to him. When the bastard's mother died, he was the one who fed him. So for Robin, it is normal for the boy to repay him.

"Hah.! Robin. Don't ever think of doing something you might regret later. I'm your mother but I hate seeing you like this." The woman sadly said.

But Robin seemed deaf and just stood up to leave the visitors lounge.

"Call me, if I'm ready to leave. Don't take it too long. Your husband hates it when you come here without telling him." Robin said.

The old woman bit her lips as she picked up her bag and strode to the door. She also thanked the guard before leaving. In this world, if you have money, you can do everything. Even making the wrong, right.

It's just that, those innocent people suffers more and it's painful.

Evening.

Raven is now facing the serious man sitting in front of him. He's now in Xavier's study room, facing some documents that will be needed tomorrow. Dwight is sleeping after they ate dinner.

Anxious, he still managed to look calm, although deep inside, he's trembling in fear.
