LISA POV
I stared at the glass window in my office. I never actually saw her face because her back was the only thing facing me. There she was again, sitting on the same bench for two months now. She always leaves in the evening and comes back the next morning.
"Ella, bring me a cup of coffee."
A few minutes later, I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in."
I could feel her presence behind me.
"Miss Lisa, I've brought your coffee just like you requested."
"Just put it on the table, Ella. Thank you."
Once she was gone, I took the coffee and went outside. I placed the coffee beside the homeless woman without saying a single word. I was about to leave when I received a call from one of my interns. She had ruined today's meeting with the board of directors and mixed up the presentation.
I was furious.
Just then, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I hung up and turned around with a frown on my face to find Karliah holding the cup of coffee in her hands.
