Chapter 47 {Uncle Victor}

Chloe was playing on her zsenb pad was lit up and she had her pink headphones on. As she spoke harshly on the other side she looked quiet upset so she didn't have to much time to care.

"Tommy did you even work hard!?" Chloe snapped at the other person while she played her game.

On the other end of the line, Tommy could hear Chloe's sharp tone and felt a pang of guilt.

"Of course I worked hard!" he protested, feeling defensive.

"I stayed up all night studying for this game!"

Chloe rolled her eyes as she continued playing her game, clearly not convinced.

"Yeah, right," she said sarcastically.

"You probably just crammed the night before and then forgot everything by the next day."

Tommy bristled at her words, feeling his irritation growing. "That's not true!" he retorted, his voice rising in volume. "I studied for days! You're just being unreasonable."

Chloe rolled her eyes again and let out an exaggerated sigh.

"Please," she said condescendingly.

"You probably spent more time playing baby games than real games."

Tommy's face flushed with anger as he heard her words. "Baby games?" he repeated incredulously. "I'll have you know I'm actually quite good at those games."

Chloe let out an exaggerated gasp of mock surprise.

"Oh really?" she said sarcastically.

"And just how many hours did you spend playing them, huh? Tommy damn it shoot that damn monster in the head now!" Chloe snapped.

Tommy flinched at her harsh tone, feeling his frustration mount.

"I didn't spend that much time playing them!" he protested, trying to defend himself.

But even as he spoke, he knew it was a lie. He had spent countless hours playing those games, losing track of time as he immersed himself in them.

Chloe just rolled her eyes again, clearly not buying his denial.

"Yeah right," she said dismissively.

"You're such a bad liar."

Chozen who busy looking through his paperwork he saw his seventh brother who is twenty years old rush over to his brother.

"Dominic," Chozen said coldly and Dominic flinched when he saw his brother glare he also saw his nephew Felix who nodded his head mumbled uncle and went back to his book.

Dominic, Chozen's seventh brother, approached his brother's desk, feeling a shiver run down his spine as he saw Chozen's cold glare fixed on him.

"Hey, Chozen," Dominic said nervously, trying to keep his voice steady.

Felix, Chozen's son who was sitting nearby, looked up from his book for a moment before mumbling a greeting to his uncle and burying himself back into the pages of his novel.

Chozen's eyes flicked to his son, Felix, before returning to Dominic. He leaned back in his chair, studying his brother intently.

"What is it?" he asked coldly, his tone making it clear that he didn't have time for small talk.

Dominic swallowed hard, feeling his palms growing sweaty. He knew that Chozen was not someone to be messed with.

"I...I just wanted to talk," he said nervously, avoiding eye contact.

Chozen raised an eyebrow at his brother's words.

"Talk about what?" he asked skeptically.

"Brother I was bullied!" Dominic shouted he rushed forward and put his head down on his brother wooden desk.

Chozen's head snapped up at the sound of Dominic's voice, his expression hardening as he saw his younger brother rushing towards him in tears.

"Bullied?" Chozen repeated coldly, pushing aside the papers on his desk to make room for Dominic's head.

Dominic nodded miserably, burying his face against the cool wood of the desk.

"Yes," he mumbled into the surface.

"I was bullied by a gamer!"

Chozen's eyes narrowed at Dominic's words.

"A gamer?" he repeated incredulously. He had always known that his brother was a bit of a gamer nerd, but being bullied by someone who played games seemed like something out of a movie. Is he an idiot he is the youngest in the family but also he is a failed case all he does is do streams and play games while he streams.

"Who was it?" he asked coldly, his tone making it clear that whoever this person was would pay dearly for their actions.

"Brother I don't know there gaming name is Blossom Coke!"

Chozen's eyes widened at Dominic's words.

"Blossom Coke?" he repeated slowly.

He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms over his chest, deep in thought.

"That name sounds unfamiliar," he mused.

Dominic nodded, feeling a bead of sweat trickle down the side of his face. "Yes sir," he said quietly.

Chozen leaned forward in his chair, fixing Dominic with an intense gaze.

"And you say this person is a gamer?"

Chozen's eyebrows furrowed as he listened to Dominic's words. He had never thought much about gamers before - they seemed like nothing more than children wasting their time on mindless entertainment.

But hearing how this gamer had bullied his brother piqued his interest.

"So this person bosses you around?" he asked coldly.

"I a gamer who has won many gaming championships is being bossed around by Blossom Coke. Brother you have four rooms in this hotel room so I am going to stay here."

Chozen's eyes widened at Dominic's words.

"You're going to stay here?" he repeated incredulously.

He was about to protest but then stopped himself. He knew that Dominic was right - there were four rooms available in his VIP suite after all.

"Fine," he said gruffly, gesturing towards one of the spare bedrooms.

"You can stay in there."

Dominic's face lit up with relief as he heard Chozen's words.

"Thank you, brother," he said gratefully.

He turned and hurried towards the spare bedroom that Chozen had gestured to, already feeling more comfortable in familiar surroundings.

Meanwhile, Chozen sat back in his chair with a sigh, still thinking about the gamer who had been bullying Dominic.

"Dad, Uncle Dom is an idiot."

Chozen's head snapped up at Felix's words, his expression hardening as he looked at his son.

"Watch your tone," he said coldly.

"Your uncle may be many things, but an idiot is not one of them."

Felix flinched under his father's stern gaze before mumbling an apology.

Chozen sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling a headache coming on.

"Just...leave us alone for now," he said to Felix, gesturing for him to leave.

Felix nodded and quickly scurried out of the room, leaving Chozen alone with his thoughts once again.

Chloe was in the middle of a gaming session with her friends when Raven suddenly spoke up, interrupting their conversation.

"I have news," he said cryptically, a sly smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

Chloe raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"What kind of news?" she asked curiously.

Raven chuckled darkly, clearly enjoying the suspense she was creating.

"Sis speak!"

"Mmm okay."

Raven smirked as she spoke up, her voice dripping with mischief.

"Guess who I just found out was in the same game with us?" she said, her eyes glinting mischievously.

"Me!" Atticus shouted.

Raven chuckled and shook her head. "No, it's not Atticus," she said.

Chloe frowned, trying to think of who it could be. She had been gaming with a lot of different people lately but couldn't think of anyone in particular that stood out.

"Who is it then?" she asked impatiently, leaning forward in anticipation.

Raven smirked and leaned closer to Chloe, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"It's someone you know very well," she said cryptically.

Chloe's eyebrows furrowed as she tried to guess who it could be. She wracked her brain, trying to think of anyone who fit the bill.

"Just tell me already!" she exclaimed, getting frustrated.

Raven laughed at Chloe's impatience, enjoying the way she was squirming in anticipation.

"It's Uncld Victor Beaufort," she said finally, a sly smile playing on her lips.

Chloe's jaw dropped as the name registered in her mind.

"Uncle Victor?" she repeated incredulously.

Raven nodded, her smile widening as she saw the shock on Chloe's face.

"Yep," she said smugly. "Your beloved uncle Victor."

Chloe sat back in disbelief, trying to process this information. She had no idea that her uncle was into gaming, let alone that he was good enough to play with them.

"Are you sure?" she asked skeptically.

Raven nodded again, her smile turning into a smirk.

"Oh I'm sure," she said confidently. "I've seen him playing before. He's pretty damn good too."

Chloe who loves games smiled brightly and then she went back to her game.

"Tommy?"

"Yes?" Tommg asked.

"Well I am done playing with you my uncle just joined this game and I am riding with him now see ya," Chloe said and stopped the voice chat with Tommy aka Dominic and Chloe went and tapped her uncle character and joined the teach.

Victor who was on the other side of the screen and already in a match, his eyes widened as he saw Chloe's character join him.

"Niece?" he asked, shocked that Chloe was joining him.

"Yup it's me uncle!"

Victor chuckled and shook his head in disbelief.

"Well I'll be damned," he muttered under his breath.

He was used to gaming alone, but having his niece join him was a first. He couldn't help but feel a little nervous, wondering if he could keep up with her skills.

"Ready for some action?"

Victor smirked and nodded, his eyes narrowing in concentration as the game began.

He was used to playing competitively, but there was something about having Chloe by his side that made him want to win even more.
