Raven, Chloe and Felix breathed a sigh of relief as Atticus was dragged away by the bodyguards.
"That was close," Chloe whispered, her heart still racing from the near miss.
Felix nodded in agreement, his heart still pounding from the adrenaline rush.
"Yeah, we need to be more careful next time," he said quietly. "If dad finds out about us…"
He trailed off, not wanting to finish the thought.
Raven shivered at the thought of their father finding out about them.
"He'll be furious," she said quietly.
"We have to keep our secret safe no matter what."
When the three other kids came back home. Isabella turn around and the two sisters moved to the side as Felix heart started beating fast.
"Atticus you need to clean your underwear you are my little Prince Charming but your underwear is disgusting," Isabella and gently pintched his cheeks. Felix smiled brightly so this is his biological mother it felt so real.
Felix blushed in embarrassment as his mother pinched his cheeks, but he couldn't help smiling.
"Sorry, mom," he muttered as his cheeks turned even redder.
"I'll clean it up."
Isabella chuckled and patted his head affectionately before turning her attention to the other kids.
Raven and Chloe exchanged a look, their eyes widening slightly as they watched Felix interact with their mother.
They couldn't believe how natural he looked and acted around her, almost like he had been doing it his whole life.
Felix cleaned up quickly and changed into fresh clothes. Once he was done, he returned to the living room where the others were gathered. Isabella stared at her three kids Chloe, Atticus, and Raven.
"All you three pizza is here let's eat," Isabella said while she sat on the couch Felix sat next to his mother he looked at him with loving eyes. Chloe and Raven watched this and Chloe leaned over.
"Mommy might be super duper smart but she is a fool not to notice that's not Atticus."
"Um, be quiet do you want to be court?" Raven muttered quietly.
As the family sat down to eat pizza, Felix couldn't help but notice the way his mother was looking at him. It was as if she was studying him, almost as if she knew something was off.
"Are you okay, sweetie?" Isabella asked, breaking the silence.
"You've been awfully quiet."
Felix froze for a moment, caught off guard by his mother's question. He quickly composed himself and forced a small smile.
"Yeah, I'm fine," he said quietly. "Just tired."
Isabella studied him for another moment before nodding slowly.
"Okay," she said.
"But if something is bothering you, you can always talk to me."
Felix nodded, feeling guilty for keeping secrets from his mother. He glanced over at Chloe and Raven, wondering how much longer they could keep their true identities hidden.
As the meal continued, Chloe and Raven couldn't help but notice how tense Felix was acting. They knew he was worried about keeping their secret safe, just like they were.
Chloe nudged Raven under the table and mouthed
"He's gonna slip up," silently gesturing towards Felix.
Raven nodded, her eyes flickering back and forth between Felix and their mother. She could see the tension in his shoulders and the way he was fidgeting with his food.
She silently mouthed back.
"Keep it together."
the rest of the night went well despite the tension Felix noticed his mother kept glancing at him as if she was studying him.
As the night went on, Felix found himself growing more and more anxious under his mother's watchful gaze. It was as if she could sense something was off about him.
He tried to act natural, laughing and chatting along with the others, but he couldn't shake the feeling that she knew something wasn't right.
Before bed, Isabella kissed each kid goodnight and headed upstairs leaving Felix alone with his siblings.
As soon as their mother was out of earshot, Chloe and Raven pounced on Felix.
"You're a terrible liar," Chloe whispered urgently.
"Mommy is totally onto you."
"I am nervous mommy is so beautiful!" Felix whisper.
"We know she's beautiful," Raven said, rolling her eyes. "But you're not fooling anyone with your acting."
"You need to relax," Chloe added.
"Mommy is smart but she can't read minds."
"Yeah Atticus has weird and disgusting habits like how he drinks milk from the jug, he likes to do work outs and most of all he loves making games like mommy," Raven said.
Felix chuckled at Raven's description of Atticus' habits.
"He is kinda gross," he agreed. "But that's just Atticus."
Chloe rolled her eyes but couldn't help smiling.
"Yeah, he's our gross brother."
"What if mommy finds out?" Felix whispered, his voice tinged with worry.
Raven shrugged and Chloe shook her head.
"We don't know," Chloe said.
"But we need to keep our guard up."
Felix nodded, his expression serious.
"I'll try to be more careful," he said quietly.
The three siblings fell silent for a moment before Raven suddenly smirked.
"You know," she said quietly,
"It's kinda funny how Atticus' habits are so different from yours."
Felix chuckled softly, the tension from earlier easing a bit.
"Yeah, it is pretty funny," he agreed.
"I never thought about it like that."
Chloe leaned in closer and lowered her voice even further.
"I wonder if Mommy would still love Atticus as much if she knew how weird he really was."
Felix chuckled again, imagining their mother's reaction if she knew all the strange things Atticus did.
"I don't think anything could stop Mommy from loving us," he said quietly.
"She loves us no matter what."
"Plus mommy knows about Atticus weird habits it's you two are so different! So act more like Atticus, as far she knows she is still looking for her missing son," Chloe said with a smile on her face.
Felix nodded, realizing the truth in Chloe's words.
"You're right," he said quietly.
"I need to act more like Atticus."
He took a deep breath and tried to imagine himself as Atticus. He thought about the things Atticus liked to do, like working out and making games.
As Felix thought about Atticus' habits and interests, he started to feel more like him. He tried to mimic his mannerisms and speech patterns as best he could.
"There," he said quietly.
"How do I look now?"
Chloe and Raven studied him for a moment, their eyes scanning over his features.
"Better," Chloe said slowly. "But you still have a ways to go."
Raven nodded in agreement.
"You need to loosen up more," she said.
"Atticus is always so relaxed and carefree."
Felix tried to relax his body and loosen up, just like Atticus would.
"Like this?" he asked, his shoulders slumping and his face becoming more relaxed.
Chloe studied him for another moment before nodding slowly.
"Yeah," she said.
"That's better. But you still need to work on your voice."
Felix took a deep breath and tried to mimic Atticus' voice, making it deeper and more confident.
"Like this?" he asked, his voice now sounding more like Atticus' than ever before.
"Raven and I have switched places many times now it's you two and we can also do it our daddy is an idiot not to notice wait we need to call Atticus and tell him about your habits!" Chloe said and she pulled up her Lexeni phone a hologram appeared in front of her she pushed the button. It was a FaceTime video.
"Chloe what's up?"
Atticus' face appeared on the hologram screen, his expression a mix of curiosity and slight annoyance.
"What's going on?" he asked.
"It's late."
