Bobby, self-proclaimed world's laziest billionaire and professional son, was about to have the most annoying night of his life.
People thought being rich was easy. It wasn't.
For example, he had to make difficult decisions every day—like whether to wear his blue diamond watch or his gold one to match his Verrari.
But tonight, it was even worse.
Tonight, he had a date with his fiancée or his sugar momma.
Because being a Golden Emperor son meant one thing: Sugar mommas were a family tradition.
His father had his mother and his other momma—a wealthy older woman who showered him with riches. And Bobby? If his father or other mom ever blocked his credit cards again, he'd be broke. So, naturally, he needed his fiancée's sympathy to make sure she covered his expenses.
Yep. There she was.
Elysia Kagenou.
Long golden-blonde hair, striking blue eyes, and an aura of overwhelming beauty. She could silence a room just by existing. Her unblemished skin, regal posture—Bobby often wondered how someone like her put up with someone like him.
And then—
"You're late."
Bobby flinched. "Hehe… Sorry. I was experimenting at home with lunch. That's why I'm late."
Elysia's eyebrow twitched. "Experimenting?"
"I combined Burrito with Nasi Padang and Curry Rice. No idea why, but it sounded like a great idea! And with the secret ingredient—MSG—the flavor was FUIYOOH~! You should try it later. Guaranteed delicious! The Bobby Special!"
Elysia sighed, rubbing her temples. "Bobby, what did I tell you last night? MSG is bad for you. You should start eating healthy food."
Bobby gasped dramatically. "No! MSG is the King of Flavor! Dad says, 'If you're sad, add MSG! If you're happy, add MSG! MSG makes everything better!'" He leaned in. "Why are you so weak, Elysia?"
Elysia's eye twitched.
Then, before he could react, she grabbed both his cheeks and pulled.
"Weak?" she repeated, her voice dangerously sweet. "Who do you think covers for your nonsense? Who runs your company when you disappear? Who takes care of you every single day? Hm? You're lucky I adore you, my spoiled little dragon."
Bobby's eyes watered. "ADUHH!! Okay! Okay! You're the most beautiful and dependable woman in my life! The light of my soul! The oxygen to my lungs! The MSG to my fried rice!!"
Elysia smirked, arms crossed in satisfaction. Victory.
"I swear," she sighed, shaking her head, "sometimes you, Daddy, Satria-sama, and Fatalis-sama are so childish. But…" Her smirk softened. "That's your charm."
But before she could enjoy it—
"Hm~ No wonder I didn't find you at home. You're here with Pooch."
A teasing voice interrupted them.
Bobby paled. Oh no.
A beautiful woman with wild silver hair and mischievous eyes appeared, dressed casually yet carrying an aura of unpredictability. Her cat-like smirk made Bobby sweat.
Zyna Kagenou.
Elysia's younger sister.
And her biggest pain in the ass.
Elysia turned to face her, smiling unhappily. "Zyna? What are you doing here? You better leave—we're on a date."
Zyna smirked. "Greedy, greedy, big sister. I see you're too hard on him. A good boy like Bobby should be treated gently."
Then, before Bobby could react, Zyna wrapped her arms around him and started stroking his chin like a puppy.
"There, there~ Who's a good boy?"
Purring.
The unmistakable sound of purring came from Bobby's throat.
Damn it.
Damn it.
Damn it.
"Stop—! Stop treating me like a child, Zyna! We're not muhrim!"
Zyna giggled. "Don't worry~ Once I get my sister's permission, we can become a real family. And when that happens…" She whispered into his ear. "I'll give you lots of my love~"
Elysia's eyebrow twitched. Hard.
The air between the sisters grew tense.
A silent battle was brewing.
On one side, Elysia—the composed, strategic mastermind of the Young Shadow Garden.
On the other, Zyna—the reckless, instinct-driven wildcard.
Both locked in an invisible war over Bobby's attention.
And Bobby?
He was just hoping no one would block his credit card again.
But then.
His instincts flared.
Something was wrong.
Something was disturbing the timeline.
Bobby's relaxed demeanor vanished, his lazy, spoiled expression replaced by something sharp and dangerous.
"Elysia."
She instantly understood.
"They'll pay for disturbing my time with my love," she muttered, pulling out her gadget to analyze the anomaly. Her eyes flickered as data scrolled across the screen. The results sent a chill down her spine.
"It's him," she said grimly. "A reincarnator known as DEATHDEVIL. He's very dangerous. He has Speed Force—just like you." She hesitated before adding, "And… an instant death ability. But this isn't your ordinary 'drop dead' kind of power. If he lands a hit, you don't get a second chance."
Zyna cracked her knuckles. "Swift and precise, got it. Let's beat him together."
Elysia's gaze turned to Bobby. But unlike usual, he wasn't lounging around, tossing lazy remarks.
Instead, he took a single step forward. Rolled his shoulders. Stretched his arms.
Silent. Focused.
"Girls, take it easy. I'll handle this."
Elysia blinked. "Unusual. You usually laze around like a Slow Loris."
"My sister is right. It's rare to see you in action, Pooch." Zyna grinned.
Bobby smirked. "No particular reason. Just felt like kicking some dumbass today."
And with that, he vanished.
A few seconds later, across the city, the air crackled.
A blur of motion ripped through space.
A man stood in the darkness, his piercing eyes fixed ahead. The presence of a wormhole distorted the air around him.
He had been expecting someone.
When Bobby arrived, his cold eyes locked onto him.
Then, in a low, venomous voice, he said—
"…You. That bastard son."
Far in the DxD world, hidden from sight, Bobby and DEATHDEVIL stood amidst the distortions of space and time.
From a distance, they could see Satria on a date—sitting with Rimuru, Great Red, Ophis, and Fatalis—completely unaware of the brewing storm.
But Bobby had no time to care about that.
Because right now, DEATHDEVIL was glaring at him, his scythe—a sacred weapon imbued with the power of an Outer God—gleaming with ominous light.
The air itself trembled as he raised it.
"Death."
A single word, spoken with chilling finality.
Then—he swung.
Bobby's instincts screamed.
Without hesitation, he shoved DEATHDEVIL into a wormhole—not just through space, but through time itself.
The two tumbled, shattering through timelines like glass, their bodies warping through infinite possibilities.
Until—
They landed.
Not in the past.
Not in the future.
But at the very beginning.
The Time of Origin.
The place where all things began.
Where the first gods forged existence itself.
"…You annoying brat!" DEATHDEVIL snarled, his voice distorted by the raw, cosmic energy swirling around them.
Bobby dusted off his designer jacket, smirking. "What's the matter? You can't beat my dad, so now you're aiming for his wife?"
DEATHDEVIL's grip on his scythe tightened. His dark aura crackled with hatred.
"I hate you and your stupid family." His voice dripped with venom. "You think you can match me, brat?! Brother Death itself bestowed me with their power! You're nothing!"
The scythe pulsed, devouring the very light around them.
Bobby sighed.
He reached up, took off his sunglasses, and slipped them into his pocket.
Then, his fist began to glow.
A deep, radiant purple energy pulsed from his knuckles, raw and unrestrained, distorting the very fabric of time itself.
"Looks like I gotta get serious this time," he muttered.
And then—
Their fists collided.
Bobby's blazing punch met DEATHDEVIL's scythe of doom.
And the shockwave that followed—
Was like a collapsing black hole.
The fabric of time and space itself screamed.
Planets trembled.
Stars flickered out.
The beginning of all things… shook.
•
Bobby stood over DEATHDEVIL, watching as the defeated warrior struggled to breathe.
The once-mighty foe, now broken, let out a raspy laugh.
"Ha… hahaha… Kill me… and you'll see it's useless," DEATHDEVIL gasped, his voice filled with a mix of exhaustion and amusement. "We'll be doing this… forever."
Bobby let out an exasperated sigh, sitting casually on a nearby boulder. He pulled out a cigarette, lighting it with a flick of his fingers.
"Yeah, yeah… I've already heard from the others that you're the stubborn type. And gotta admit…" he exhaled a puff of smoke, smirking. "The rumors were true—you're strong."
DEATHDEVIL's crimson eyes burned with hatred.
"You're just like him… just as annoying." His form flickered, cracks of dark energy running along his body. "You were lucky today. But I will be back… for I am the Paradox!"
With that final declaration, his body crumbled into dust, disappearing into nothingness.
Bobby scoffed, shaking his head.
"Geez… Stupid old man, leaving such a headache for us." He crushed his cigarette underfoot. "I'm definitely skipping the throne. I ain't suicidal enough to become the next Emperor."
With the battle over, he zipped through the timelines, returning to the present, where his allies were waiting.
As soon as Bobby arrived, he flashed a smug grin, fully expecting praise and admiration.
"So… what do you think?" he asked, looking at his teammates expectantly.
Elysia approached him first, her usual stoic expression softening into a rare, genuine smile.
"Bobby," she said, a hint of admiration in her voice, "you've improved. You're getting stronger."
She tapped her wrist-mounted device, bringing up a holographic map. "We managed to put a tracker on him before he escaped. Now we can monitor his movements and make sure he doesn't harm innocent people."
"Good job."
Bobby blinked in surprise.
Elysia didn't hand out compliments often.
Before he could respond, Zyna stepped up next to her, arms crossed, her silver hair glinting under the lights.
"I gotta say, your combat skills were extraordinary today. Flawless execution, perfect timing…" She nodded, grinning playfully. "We should reward this good boy for his hard work, Elysia."
Elysia chuckled, catching on to her sister's teasing tone.
"You're right. Hmm…" She tilted her head, pretending to think. "What should we do with you, Bobby? I wonder~ Hehehe."
Bobby, despite his usual laid-back attitude, felt a warmth bloom in his chest.
They were proud of him.
For once, it wasn't about his family name, his wealth, or his heritage.
He had proven himself—not just as Zip Zap, the Dragon Speedster, but as someone capable of protecting those he cared about.
And today… he had done just that.
To be continued...
