In a world of gates and hunters, a set of twins; products of years of research and developments in a hunter training facility (The Cradle) were successful conceived— A masterpiece with the power to become the strongest hunter in history and the other a faliure and liability that was to be disposed of. However, following a certain incident their identities were mixed up.
Twelve Years Later, Arc Stollen, a kind-hearted, cheerful boy who had a dream of becoming the world's greatest hunter but was also deemed the cradle's faliure was scheduled for disposal. However, at the moment of his death, he awakened the overlord system— the power of an evil king 5000 years ago who tried to take over the world. Not just that, he was saved by Ragnarok; a criminal organization who follows the ideals of that same overlord.
At that point, Arc found himself at a crossroad— To try following his dream of becoming a hunter, or cast his old self aside and join Ragnarok.

Without further ado, I'll also answer some FAQ •What do you mean R18?!— Yeah well, when I say r18, i don't mean it's full of debauchery or hentai, it's there as a cautionary tag. That said, there are a few questionable scenes here and there so discretion is advised (there aren't that much so don't worry) •What's up with your MC?! — I'm of the belief that villains aren't born, they are made. the mc starts out as a naive, happy go lucky protagonist (like Emma, Makoto Naegi, Izuku Midoriya, etc) but eventually gets that Obito treatment if you know what I mean 😅. Volume 1 will mostly be dedicated to the darkness he saw and the hell he went through to reshape his ideals, break his spirit and proceed down a dark path, actual villainy starts from volume 2. That said, even as a villain, he'll still undergo different experience, phases and character development leading to the kind of villain he chooses to be. •Bro sure is popular, is this Harem?— I honestly don't know. maybe, maybe not. I'm still contemplating whether or not a harem is necessary. An overlord should have a harem, right? Well, we'll see how things go. Did I leave anything out? The novel is fast paced and nicely written. The premise and the world building is unique and let' see in what direction the story moves. Has a lot of potential and I recommend everyone to try it

Very nice book i must say, good plot, the start is gripping(wn standards idk why they fk around with immense starts) but still well implemented the requirement. The novel is balanced though pace is a bit fast(im more of a LN reader and like developing plots) and the mc is badass. Good work, the character design is satisfactory and the story development is just. I applaud the writing style though there is always room for improvement. Recommend it to new readers!

I found this book through discord and I am so glad I found a systems novel I like a lot. I don’t read these types of novels often but this one is going in a real good direction so far.

Pretty intriguing plot and this novel has a lot of potential in it. It is also a fast paced one so I can't wait to see more of the chapters coming.
