He's demons

Anna stirred awake to the faint sound of crashing and shouting, her peaceful slumber interrupted. The sunlight streaming through her curtains was blinding, but the chaos outside her room quickly brought her to full alertness. She rubbed her eyes and swung her legs off the bed, her heart already racing.

"What's going on?" she muttered to herself, quickly throwing on a cardigan over her pajamas before stepping out of her room.

The noise grew louder as she approached the staircase. Downstairs, a group of maids stood huddled together, their faces pale with fear and uncertainty. Their murmurs reached her ears, but she couldn't make out the words.

"Excuse me," Anna said, making her presence known. "What's going on?"

One of the maids turned to her, visibly shaken. "It's Mr. Voss," she stammered. "He's… he's started his madness again."

"Madness?" Anna repeated, her stomach twisting into knots.
