Anna went upstairs to her room, feeling the weight of the conversation she had with Alexander earlier. She closed the door behind her and slowly made her way to the bed. She collapsed onto it, curling up beneath the duvet, as if the soft fabric could shield her from the uncertainty that now consumed her thoughts. She closed her eyes and allowed the fatigue to take over, drifting into a restless sleep.

Knock! Knock! Knock!!!
The sound of the door echoed through her quiet room, pulling her from the depths of sleep. Her eyelids fluttered open, and she groggily sat up, trying to shake off the remnants of her dreams. The knock came again, persistent and firm. She quickly got out of bed and moved towards the door, her heart rate picking up as she wondered who it could be.
