Chapter 69

One Month Later…

Tanin descended the grand staircase, her heels clicking softly against the marble floor as she made her way to the dining hall. She wore a fitted cream-colored dress that accentuated her small baby bump, her hair falling in soft waves around her shoulders.

As soon as she stepped in, she flashed a bright smile. "Good morning, Mother," she greeted cheerfully.

Dowager Amelia turned from her tea, raising a brow at Tanin's unusually good mood. "Good morning, my dear," she responded, a warm smile tugging at her lips.

Lyra and Antara, who were already seated, exchanged glances before beaming at Tanin. "Well, someone looks like she's glowing this morning," Antara teased.

Tanin giggled and joined them at the table.

She had been living her best life for the past month.
