The joyous atmosphere of the palace shattered the moment the guard entered. His urgency was palpable as he bowed and spoke.

"High Luna, please come outside for a moment."

Tanin frowned. There was something about his tone—his eyes—that unsettled her. She quickly handed baby Selene to a maid, her hands trembling slightly.

Damian, sensing her unease, laid Lucian gently in his crib before rising to his full height. "What is it?" he asked, his voice sharp and commanding.

The guard hesitated, eyes flickering to Tanin before bowing again. "You must see for yourself."

Tanin's heart pounded. With Damian by her side, they walked swiftly to the Palace Gates. Antara and Lyra followed closely, their expressions mirroring the tension in the air.
