After saying that, Reina kissed Yosan briefly, hoping to make the man feel better while giving him an encouragement to really get up.
Without waiting any longer, she hurried to the wardrobe to prepare the clothes Yosan would wear today. However, as she had expected, the man's clothing choices weren't very varied. Almost all of them were long-sleeved white shirts and simple black jackets, the typical uniform of male servants in the palace.
There were only five formal suits in blue, black, one in red, and one in green that Yosan had used when replacing her as leader. (Season 1 on the Fizzo Novel app)
Meanwhile, Yosan could only sigh before finally getting up to clean himself. His body felt sore, and the scent of sweat mixed with the remnants of their night's warmth still clung to his skin. When he touched his neck, he could feel several red marks left by Reina. He shook his head with a thin smile, feeling a little defeated in the game they had started last night.
On the other hand, Reina was still looking at the clothes hanging in the closet. She picked up one of the white shirts and glanced at it before looking at Kkumi, who was still sitting on the bed with his tail swaying gently.
"His clothes are just these... Should I buy him new clothes?" she muttered, half thinking to herself.
She sighed softly before turning to Kkumi. "What do you think, Kkumi?" she asked with a smile.
Kkumi only meowed softly before jumping off the bed, then walked towards the closet. He sniffed Yosan's clothes before finally sitting with his tail wrapped around his body, as if thinking, then meowed again.
Reina chuckled at the cat's behavior. "I'll take that as a 'yes'?" she said while looking back at Yosan's clothing collection.
She thought for a moment. Maybe it was time to buy new clothes for the man. Not only so Yosan would have more choices, but also as a form of her attention. After all, even though Yosan never complained, Reina knew the man rarely thought about things like clothes for himself.
While Reina was still busy with her thoughts, Yosan came out of the bathroom with his hair still a little wet. He wore a thin robe, leaving some of his chest visible.
"What are you thinking about?" he asked while drying his hair with a towel.
Reina turned and smiled. "I was just thinking about buying you some new clothes."
Yosan raised his eyebrows. "Why? Aren't my clothes good enough?" he asked in a teasing tone.
Reina snorted softly. "It's not like that, but you always wear the same clothes. I just want to give you something more varied."
Yosan chuckled before walking over and grabbing one of his shirts from Reina's hand. "I don't really care about clothes. As long as it's comfortable, I'll still wear it," he said casually while starting to put it on, helped by Reina.
Reina rolled her eyes. "That's exactly why I have to care," she retorted, placing her hands on her hips. "I want to see you wear something different once in a while."
She then grabbed Yosan's shirt sleeve and pulled it a little, showing how short the sleeve was now. "Look at this, your shirt is getting shorter," she said, looking at the seemingly shrunken fabric. "I still remember the first time you wore it. Back then, your sleeves were too long to fold. But now? But now? Your shirt sleeves don't even reach your wrists."
Yosan glanced at his shirt with a casual expression. "Hmm... I think I've gotten taller."
Reina narrowed her eyes, then looked at him suspiciously. "It's not 'I think', it's obvious. Thinking about it, you're taller than me now. Even though our heights weren't much different before."
She tiptoed slightly, then raised her hand to Yosan's head, trying to compare their heights. Her brow furrowed as she realized how big the difference was now.
Yosan chuckled at Reina's behavior, especially when the woman pouted with an annoyed expression that he found rather adorable.
"Am I taller than you, or are you getting shorter?" he teased, crossing his arms over his chest.
Reina immediately glared. "Hey! That's impossible!" she protested quickly.
Reina glared sharply, about to retort, but Yosan added in a casual tone, "At least now I can make you moan in bed all night."
Reina was startled for a moment before her face turned red. Without hesitation, she flicked Yosan's forehead. "You pervert!"
"Ouch!" Yosan sat on the bed, holding his forehead that had just been attacked by Reina. "Your Majesty, that hurts!" he complained with an expression as if he had just suffered a serious injury.
Reina only snorted. "That's punishment for your indecent words!"
However, Yosan grinned mischievously. "But I'm not wrong, am I?" he teased again, making Reina want to flick him again, or maybe punch him this time?
Yosan chuckled before finally pulling Reina's hand, making the woman fall to sit on his lap. He brought their faces closer until there was almost no distance between them.
"Alright, don't be angry like that. Your beauty might disappear later. I also apologize for the mistake I made earlier," he teased in a gentle tone, his eyes glinting mischievously.
While stroking her head until he touched Reina's face, Yosan said, "You also don't have to bother buying new clothes for me. I can buy them myself if I have free time."
Reina snorted softly. "No, I'll still buy you clothes, whether you want to or not. So, make sure you have free time for that."
Hearing that, Yosan looked at her with a resigned yet amused expression. "Alright, I'll obey this time," he said before starting to put on his black jacket.
Reina smiled in satisfaction. "Good. I'll buy you a lot of clothes so you'll not only be neat, but also the most handsome man in the Lumina Kingdom."
Yosan could only sigh softly while buttoning his black servant jacket. Today he intended to carry out his duties as a servant before practicing martial arts under Elexon's guidance.
"I don't have a choice, do I?" he asked in a resigned tone.
"No," Reina answered quickly, still with a smile on her face.
Yosan shook his head, but still let a small smile linger on his lips. In the end, if it could make Reina happy, he didn't mind following her wishes, even if it meant spending time choosing new clothes that he didn't really care about.
At the place where the servants usually washed and dried clothes, Yosan wiped the sweat from his forehead. His gaze swept over the piles of fabric and clothes that he had washed and dried with the help of several servants. The sun was shining brightly, making the fatigue feel even more intense in his body.
"Are you alright, Yosan?" asked a female servant, patting his shoulder. She noticed the man's tired expression after hearing his complaint just now.
Yosan smiled thinly and shook his head. "I'm fine, Auntie. Just a little sore and tired because I haven't washed this many clothes in a long time."
Maybe this was his body's reaction after not doing heavy activities for quite a while. During his recovery period, he rested a lot as advised by the palace physician. Now, when his body started to become active again, the soreness seemed to be a sign that he still needed time to adjust. Plus, the remnants of fatigue from the "hot activity" with Reina last night were still felt in his body.
The servant chuckled softly. "Of course, you've been resting for quite a while, Yosan. It's natural for your body to be a little shocked," she said in a teasing tone.
Yosan only laughed softly at the teasing, then continued to tidy up the clothes he had dried.
"So, how are you feeling now? Are you getting better?" asked the female servant, this time in a more serious tone.
Yosan smiled. "I'm much better than before, Auntie. This is also thanks to the help of Auntie, Your Majesty, and the others who always took care of me when I was sick. Thank you."
The servant shook her head gently and smiled softly. "You don't have to thank us. Besides, we all care about you, so taking care of you wasn't a hassle."
Yosan looked at her with gratitude. He knew very well how everyone around him, including the servants, had helped him a lot while he was not in top condition.
"That's enough," continued the servant in a cheerful tone. "You better go see Elexon soon. Let us take care of the rest of the work."
Yosan hesitated, but seeing the servant's confident smile, he finally sighed softly and nodded. "Alright, in that case, I'll leave the rest to you. Thank you."
He then straightened his sleeves before getting ready to leave. However, before really leaving the place, he glanced at the clothesline with a slight frown.
"Washing this much is quite tiring after all..." he muttered softly.
The servant who heard that chuckled. "So, now you realize how hard we work here?" she teased.
Yosan only smiled, then waved his hand before finally going to see Elexon.
Arriving at the training ground, Yosan looked around, searching for Elexon's whereabouts. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at the sky. The sun was getting higher, its rays piercing directly into his skin.
"Did I come too late?" he muttered, squinting at the sun that was almost directly overhead."
