Crane Visits More than Once

Zan Guiying looked outside.

"Young miss.... It's time to sleep!!" Her nanny said.

"Okay nanny!!" She stopped looking outside. When will the crane arrive with baby?

"Our young miss has grown brave!! She started to sleep alone!! This nanny is very happy!!" Her nanny tucked her in.

"Thank you!!"

Her nanny took a story book and began to read it.... Like always, Zan Guiying fell asleep hearing the bedtime story...

"Daddy!! Mommy!!" Zan Guiying sat in her bed. The bedside lamp showed her enlarged shadows. Nanny hadn't switched off the light... She looked at the bedside table.

"Wait!! I forgot!!" She jumped from the bed and ran towards window and looked outside. There is no crane!! Maybe it was having a meeting with daddy and mommy!! She controlled her urge to knock her parents room and returned to bed to sleep.

Morning. Zan villa.

Zan Tengfei looked at his sleeping wife. He smiled and kissed her hair. She stirred and opened her eyes.

"Good morning..." He said.

"Good morning to you too..." She blushed. Last night's images came to her mind... Oh my god!! What was that!! It felt soo good!!

"Do you feel any pain?!" Zan Tengfei asked.

"Mmm!!" She nodded. My waist is so sore!! I don't know I can walk anymore!!

"Then let me help you!!"

"No!!! Noooo!!" She pushed him. "I can do it myself!!" Covering her body with blanket, she moved away from him.

Zan Tengfei laughed. "But I should help you!!!"

"It's okay!! I can manage myself!!"

"Hhmmm!! Okay!! Then let me take a bath!!" He sat and looked at his wife. "If you're tired, sleep more..." He gently kissed her again.

"Mm... Okay!!!" Bo Ehuang closed her eyes. He smiled again and closed the bathroom door.

Did the baby arrive? Waking up from bed, it was the first question in Zan Guiying's mind. Should I go and check it? No! No! Mommy and daddy will come and tell me if baby comes!! She pulled herself out of the bed.

Last night was the longest night in Zan Guiying's life... It was her first time sleeping alone. She managed to sleep but she was tired due to the lack of sleep. Because of that she slept more than ever.

Her nanny came and opened the door. Seeing the sleeping child, she closed the door again...

"Young miss slept alone for the first time. Elder Zan!!" Zan Guiying's nanny reported.

"Oh!! It's a great news!! I should reward her!! But why did she sleep alone? Did her parents say so?!" He closed the newspaper he was reading.

"No! Elder Zan!! It's young miss's own decision!!"

"Okay!! Then I will ask her during breakfast!!" He decided.

"Why is everyone late for breakfast?!" Grandpa Zan sat in his table and waited for the other members in his house.

"Grandpa!! Good morning!!" Zan Guiying ran and hugged her grandpa.

"Good morning little Yingying!!" He hugged her back. "Where is your parents?!"

"Good morning father!!" Zan Tengfei and Bo Ehuang greeted elder Zan.

"Come and sit down!! All of you three were late!!" He instructed.

Hearing it Bo Ehuang blushed.

What happened to them? Grandpa Zan looked at them.

Both the parents say down and the dishes were served.....

"Aren't you going to go school today too?!" Grand Zan asked, even though he knows about it.

"No!!" She shook her head and put the soup filled spoon in her mouth.

"I heard our little Yingying began to sleep alone!!" Grandpa Zan said in an exited voice.

"Yes!! Grandpa..... I have decided to sleep alone!!" Zan Guiying answered proudly.

"Were you afraid?!" Zan Tengfei got concerned.

"For sometime!! But I am a brave girl!! So I will try to sleep alone!!"

"Good girl!! Our Yingying is very brave!!" Bo Ehuang patted her head.

Zan Guiying blushed.

"So... What made our Yingying sleep alone?!" Grandpa Zan asked.

'Khm!' Both the parents coughed.

Grandpa Zan looked at both of them.

"Because I wanted a baby!! That's why I slept alone!!"

"WHAT!!" Her sudden answer made Grandpa Zan chock his food. "What are you talking Yingying?! Explain!!"

"I wanted to have a baby... A sibling to play with me!! So I called big brother Jun and asked them to help me to say it to my parents...

"Mmmm!!" Grandpa Zan nodded.

"He told me that a crane comes at night when the husband and wife alone and the crane will give baby!! So I decided to sleep alone that the crane would visit daddy and mommy and give me a sibling..." She then turned towards her parents. "Daddy! Mommy!! Did the crane visit at night?! Where is the baby??" She looked at them expectantly.

Bo Ehuang blushed and looked down. Zan Tengfei coughed.

Oh!! It's the reason they were late!! Good son!! I wish soon there would be another child in the house!!! Grandpa Zan understood.

"Looking at them, I think the crane had visited them last night!!" He commented.

Both the parents chocked their food.

"But Yingying... The crane had to visit the parents more than once!! Then only it will give the baby!! Is it son?! He asked his son innocently.

FATHER!! "Yes father you are right!!" He agreed.

"Is it mommy?!" Zan Guiying asked.

"Hh!! Haa!! Yes!! Yes!! Yingying!! They are right!!" Bo Ehuang also nodded.

"Then I will not be sleeping with mommy and daddy anymore!! And please tell the crane to give me a baby faster!! Okay?!" She looked at her parents.

"Okay!! We will!!" They smiled and patted her head.

That night Zan Guiying called De Longjun to thank him for the successful idea. She slept after that and dreamed about a crane arriving with a baby....

Like that, the crane visited Zan villa for a few months...

One day...

"Yingying!! Can we go somewhere today? With daddy and mommy?!" Zan Tengfei asked to his daughter.

"To where daddy?!"

"It's a surprise!!" He smiled.

She nodded and the three of them took the car and drove out of their house...

"Why are we going to the hospital?! Is mommy sick?!" She had seen her mother vomiting before. When asked Bo Ehuang said it was nothing.

"No! No! It's a surprise Yingying!! Don't get worried!!" Bo Ehuang patted her.

"Mmm!!" Zan Guiying nodded.

They reached the hospital and got to the room named Gynaecology.

Inside, there was a women doctor.

"Mr and Mrs Zan!! It's your second appointment!!"

"Yes doctor!!"

The doctor looked at Zan Guiying. "Who is this cutie?!"

"Hello!! I am Zan Guiying!!" Zan Guiying introduced herself.

"Please lie down Mrs Zan!!" After the initial process, the doctor instructed Bo Ehuang.

Bo Ehuang lied down.

"What happened to mommy?" Zan Guiying asked worriedly.

"See here Yingying!!" Bo Ehuang pointed to th sceen.

There was a small object in the screen.

"What is it mommy?!" Zan and asked.

"Yingying... Didn't you tell daddy and mommy that you wanted a sibling?! Say hello to the baby!! Yingying!!" Zan Tengfei told his daughter happily.

"A baby!!" Zan Guiying looked at the screen again.... Exitedly...
