Chapter 48: Definitely Not A Weakling

Theron's face is set in a frown with my best friend standing in his front, blocking his way and stopping him from reaching for the door.

My face is flushed with embarrassment, my line set in a thin line as I stare at them with worry settling deep in my stomach.

After Serene walked in us during our 'unnamed' session, she's gone hysterical and refused to let him leave since then. She forbade me from speaking and has been staring down Theron without uttering a single word.

Her face is red with anger even though she's relatively calm with no reaction of some sort and I can feel Theron's frustration growing by the minute.

I need to stop this.

"Serene, I'll explain, just let him go." I plead and she shoots me a glare.

I mutter an inaudible plea and after a few seconds of burning angry holes into my forehead, she steps aside and Theron leaves the room with a loud bang from the door being shut.
