One Room

"I see," he said finally. "And have you thought about where you'll find this mage?"

Selena shrugged, a small smirk tugging at her lips. "That's part of the adventure, isn't it? I'll have to go to the neighbouring empire. The mages there are flourishing, unlike here. It's the only logical place to start."

Alex nodded thoughtfully. The neighbouring empire—his empire—was indeed known for its magical advancements. It had been nearly two months since he had left, and the thought of returning stirred a mix of emotions within him.

The first person who came to his mind was Ambrose.

Ambrose was a brilliant mind, someone who could undoubtedly bring Selena's vision to life. It would be a reunion of sorts, and Alex couldn't deny that the idea of involving Ambrose in this venture intrigued him.

"I might have someone in mind," Alex said, his tone casual.

Selena's eyes lit up. "Really? Who?"
