ARIANA'S POV.

With my heart threatening to tear out of my chest, I ran for all I was worth. The dawn was just breaking. Soon, the sun would be up. We'd see everything more clearly. I just hoped those peasants or villagers; whatever they were— would be asleep.

Sunny stuffed the container into his pocket, and climbed onto the window ledge. He didn't even wait. He jumped.

"Sunny!" I screamed, as I crashed against the window ledge, my hair pouring all over my face, but Sunny was bounding over buildings, without even looking back.

"Hurry!" Miguel shouted, as the sound of rushing feet came nearer. I climbed onto the window ledge, and felt the wind in my clothes. I could do this. The energy was there.

I jumped down onto a balcony, and swung over it, from balcony rail to balcony rail, before entrusting myself onto a building roof.
