She was standing right behind me, and I let out a yelp, staggering backwards dangerously close to the edge.
I looked back, and the wind blew my hair over my face, as I stared at the streets below. Falling would mean an immediate death.
My head whipped back to stare at Victoria, who was walking closer to me. Being at the edge, the wind seemed to pick up somehow faster.
My heart thundered. That hallucination. It hadn't been one, but a vision. How could I be seeing visions? Chills ran through me, and a cold sweat broke out on my forehead.
Victoria looked like she was crazy. There was just a madness in her eyes that made my lips quiver.
"I was wondering. Maybe… I would just make you leave myself." She drawled, but underneath that lazy statement, I felt fury. What more did she want? Why did she just suddenly get so angry, and decide to scare me with words that could have scarier meanings?
