Away from the heart of Alchemy's colony, Melphite dropped onto her hands and knees as she let out a sigh of relief.
"I'm free!" She called out.
"Are you okay, miss Melphite?" Nera questioned.
In the end, she did decide to follow Melphite. She was a little worried about leaving Alchemy to her own devices, but she couldn't be overly protective forever.
Even if she was there to protect Alchemy, without proper information, her Mother Goddess would be in even more danger.
"Haah… I'm fine. No wonder she's Sir Gravana's Disciple. She's just as terrifying as him!" Melphite responded.
Getting up from the ground, Melphite dusted herself off before turning to Nera.
"What did you think of her, Blanc?"
"U-uhm…" Nera hesitated to answer.
She couldn't say she didn't see such a question coming, but it wasn't one she was thinking about.
"She seemed… Caring?" She gave an honest answer.
