Luke nodded coolly, shifting Lenora's weight to his other arm. "They sedated her. So I took care of them. She's alive, just needs an antidote. Now get out of the way—I'm taking her somewhere she can recover."

The man looked momentarily unsure, but eventually stepped aside. "Please…do. And, thank you, for saving her."

Luke swept past them, carrying Lenora Quinn through the corridor.

The drizzly Arcadia night beckoned beyond the stairwell.

As he strode out into the open air, the city lights glinted off the droplets that clung to her limp, shimmering cheongsam.

Glancing down at her exhausted face, Luke allowed himself a small smile. "We've got a lot of catching up to do, Senior Sister," he whispered under his breath. But first, let's get you patched up.

Behind him, frantic calls erupted as more Judgment Society members converged, but Luke was done letting them handle the aftermath.
