Or so it was believed…

Privy to only the most privileged, was the knowledge of an ancient—unproven rumor. One that ran amok within the gatherings of the higher entities of the universe; the searing Seraphs, the arrogant Empyreans, and the lofty Celestials. A rumor that spoke of a fourth and final realm!

Inconceivable!

Or so they thought…

A deviant emerged. One backed up by Heaven's radiance. And whether coincidentally or not, his very name echoed this truth.

This is the tale of how the history of the universe was rewritten.

Rise of The Holy-Realm Rebel

Ascending Beasts were as their name said; creatures distinct from normal animals due to their rise in strength. Those empowered creatures used to be everyday animals that lived in terrains with enough Solarin to birth in them a core. That, or they were born that way by creatures that had the 'Ascending' status.

Thanks to my extensive study, I knew enough about this topic. Although years have passed, not much about their traits and behaviors should have changed.

Nonetheless, I expected to find some anomalies, which, of course, I would study to add to my already impressive knowledge.

The ranking for those creatures had remained the same; Earth-Realm, Sky-Realm, and so on. Except that rather than name each stage within those realms, humans had limited themselves to identifying them with numbers.
