13. Planning for the future

(First PoV)

I hugged Mei, tears dripping down my eyes.

"Nee-chan, what happened!? I clearly remember dying..."

I stopped hugging her, and looked at her face.

Her single tomoe Sharingan has evolved into 3 tomoe.

"Mei, listen to me carefully about what I am going to tell you.

For now, you have to keep living in this dimension.

You were killed by Danzo, and no one should know that I have revived you."

She hesitated and looked at Karin's mother's corpse, and the baby Karin crying.

"Then, can you revive that woman? She must have been used in some way for my revival, right?"

I nodded.

"I will need some time to learn a jutsu. But, I will revive her. So, you should take care of her daughter for now.

I will bring the supplies."

I made a Shadow Clone and sent it out of the Kamui dimension in a remote village where the chances of Zetsu's presence is minimial.

Mei nodded and started trying to calm down the crying Karin. She must have felt that her mother died.

I traded her mother's life for Mei, so the least I have to do is to revive her mother in Edo Tensei state.

Not only Karin's mother will be able to remain with her daughter, but I will also be able to use Rinnegan through her Edo Tensei body.

"What do you intend to do, oh! You have made legs!?"

Oh. She just noticed.

I walked around on these legs.

"They are not perfect, well, I can't even run in these, but I will make do with them for now."

Though I have some Zetsus now for my limbs, they will draw too much attention.

So for now, I intend to use these legs.

"By the way, I don't have any problem living here. What will you do nee-chan?"

Right. I need to plan some basics for the future.

First of all, I still have much to learn from Tsunade and Kushina. So, I can't just leave the village right now.

And I need to get in contact with Orochimaru to get Edo Tensei. And since I now have some Zetsus, which are ideal vessels for Living Corpse Reincarnation, I might as well get that technique.

I will also need lots of money for creating my robots and such. In the background, I will control some nobles and get hush money and the required materials, but I will also need to have some sort of presence in the light.

And then, there is the thing with Madara and such who might be suspecting me. Not that I am afraid of Obito or Madara who might as well die at any moment.

They will just make things troublesome. The main thing is that I can't let Black Zetsu run amok.

Now that Mikoto is dead, Sasuke wouldn't be born. So someone else will be Indra's reincarnation.

So, I will need to keep a close eye on the Uchiha clan to determine who will he be.

Damn! Why was Mikoto killed too?

I sighed. I can't do anything about it.

Putting those things aside, the main goal is to get stronger and getting rid off... no... controlling Danzo for now.

His ROOT might have some interesting things.

The problem is that he is never alone. And using White Zetsu that I have caught for the task will alert the other White Zetsus spying on him.

"Uwaaah!"

Oh. Karin has started crying again.

Soon, my Shadow Clone returned with supplies for the baby and Mei, and using the White Zetsus under my control, I made sure that nothing has sneaked in here.

"Mei, remain here for a while. I will go back to the village to take care of some things."

Using Kamui, I returned back to the underground basement and wiped out the blood from my eyes.

I dispelled my Shadow Clone, and went out of the basement, only to hear knocks on my gate.

I opened the gate, and saw various Uchihas and even Kushina and Hiruzen. Even Itachi was present.

I stared down at the shorty Hiruzen with my three-tomoe Sharingan, and said, "Danzo sneaked in Onoki's guy, right?

I am going to put him in prison on the suspicion of betraying the village, killing fellow villagers, and especially, killing the current head of the police force, the matriarch of the Uchiha Clan."

Hiruzen said, "I have investigated Danzo. He hasn't done anything-"

"My Sharingan is a much greater than Yamanaka's clan's special jutsus.

And, there are already many Yamanaka clan members under Danzo's ROOT.

Are you going to approve his arrest, or not?"

Hiruzen was definitely feeling the pressure by being surrounded by the Uchiha clan, and Kushina, whose eyes have already turned red.

"As of today, I am stripping Danzo of his position. And ANBU will-"

"I will interrogate him. Do you think that the founding clan's matriarch's death is trivial?"

Tch. Now killing Danzo is a better thing to do than controlling him.

But, his death wouldn't be accidental or graceful.

"Alright. Interrogate him. But remember that he is an advisor in the village, and the suspicions on him are baseless."

...Does Hiruzen actually trust Danzo? That he thinks that Danzo will come out unscathed even with my interrogation?

"Kushina, come with me and unravel all seals in Danzo's brain and memories."

"Yes. I swear that I will kill him if he really killed Mikoto!"

Before Hiruzen could say anything anymore, I started walking out of the Uchiha clan.

Hiruzen followed us and said, "He is in the Hokage Office."

Danzo, I have decided that I will not spare you for controlling the village from the shadows through you.

You will die an ungrateful death today.
