The Silver Flash

Near the Tsukikawa harbor lies an outpost of the underworld organization of Transylvania: the Crimson Court.

In there the organization of the broker, Underwire, has put an insider to give them classified information that could be of use in this new conflict.

The insider's name is Emanuel Rapida, or Manu, as most call him.

He is tall, has short dark hair, green eyes, and a beautiful smile that wins the heart of any girl.

Manu was tasked to infiltrate the base and get as much information as possible, so he finds himself in the information center of the base, where he overhears the information of Dracula tasking the border baron to take control of the harbor under any means necessary.

Manu: "Dracula, what does he want from the harbor? I have to inform the ICD about it."

What neither the Crimson Court, Underwire, or the Broker knew was that Manu secretly works for the ICD and had successfully infiltrated the Broker's new organization.

Manu has a deep hatred for criminals, but he knows that he has to do the dirty work to destroy the Underworld forever.

So he thinks of a way to distract the mobs until the ICD has enough information to take initiative.

Manu: "Let them just destroy each other while I have my fun."

Manu first calls the servant of the broker to inform him of this new information, but then he suddenly notices a sound coming from the door to the information center.

The door handle gnashes loudly while the door itself is pushed open quickly. Two men dressed in black, each having a red symbol engraved on their breast armor.

But Manu is unbothered by his current situation; he simply takes a step to the front, to which he suddenly finds himself behind the two men, leaving a silver trail from where Manu originally stood to where he is standing currently. Then a strong wind draft appears, launching the two men and everything that stood between the trail against the wall outside of the door.

Manu laughs loudly before taking another step, now finding himself outside.

Manu: "These idiots won't know what hit them."

He says it out loud, laughing and smiling until behind him someone approaches him.

Soldier: "Hey, what are you doing here?"

The soldier of the Crimson Court holds his gun at Manu; he then notices Manu.

Soldier: "Hey, you are the new guy; aren't you supposed to be outside?"

Manu holds his hands into the air, slowly turning around to face the soldier.

Manu: "I have a special mission from the base commander."

Soldier: "Yeah? Let me talk to him.

Manu: "You can't; he is currently taking a nap."

Before entering the information center, Manu knocked out the base commander in his chamber.

Soldier: "I will just ask him quickly."

The soldier pulls out a radio, trying to get contact with the base commander.

Manu: "Fuck it."

Manu takes another step, now standing behind the soldier with his gun and radio in his hand.

The soldier didn't notice what happened; it all was too fast when suddenly a quick silver flash hit him in the face, breaking his face and launching him away.

Manu: "Oh, I think I was a little too fast with my punch."

Manu says, looking at his fist before wiping the blood on it away.

Manu: "I have to train more so I can have better control over my Awakening, but first the Broker—I heard he wanted to meet me. This will be fun."

Manu smiles before stretching his body and quickly running at high speed away from the base, leaving only a silver trail behind.

The servant rushes again into the broker's bureau, drained in even more sweat than before and roughly gasping for air.

Servant: "Broker, the base that our insider infiltrated was attacked."

Broker: "So what? What happened?

Servant: "Apparently, they didn't know what hit them, so they assume it was one of the other mobs."

Broker: "This is perfect; if Dracula and the other mobsters start to fight against each other, we can just run over them after they weaken themselves."

Servant: "The ICD is also apparently getting involved in all this."

Broker: "The ICD? But this isn't the empire.

Servant: "Apparently, the empire and the Kagetsu kingdom are operating together in this mess."

Broker: "This is bad; we have to move now. Tell the captain that he should locate us somewhere else."

Servant: "Yes, I will inform him immediately…"

Manu: "Inform him of what?"

Manu taps the servant on his shoulder from behind, smiling at the broker.

Broker: "And who are you?"

Manu: "I am your informant, sir; didn't you order me to come here?"

Broker: "You were infiltrating their base until recently; how come you are here this fast-…"

Broker interrupts himself to think; he puts the puzzle pieces together while he stares at Manus's smile.

Broker: "How did the ICD find out so quickly about all this? They must have an informant in one of the involved mobs, and there is only one person inside of the ICD that can travel long distances in a short time: you are the silver flash of the ICD."

Manus's smile gets wider after hearing Broker say his nickname out loud.

Manu: "You're damn right I am."

Broker grabs his gun that lies on his table, pointing it at Manu, when suddenly the gun isn't in his hand anymore but in Manu's hand.

Broker: "So, what do you want from me? Are you trying to arrest me? Or even better, do you want to kill me?"

Manu: "Trust me, I would enjoy killing you; arresting you wouldn't settle my hunger for revenge, but the ICD sees use in you, so why don't we just talk a little? You, me, and even your sweaty servant."

Broker: "So you want me to snitch on my business?"

Manu: "No, not only your business, but every little detail you have on every mob and organization inside of the Underworld, and don't let a single detail out."

Broker: "Who do you think I am? Selling information is what I started my business with."
