A New Dawn

The Vanguard camp was a whirlwind of activity as the morning sun stretched across the surface.

Tobi stood at the edge of the camp, his gaze fixed on the horizon. The weight of the Sentinel's defeat lingered, but a spark of unease gnawed at the edges of his mind.

They had won, but at what cost? The ruins were silent now, yet Tobi couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching.

"Morning," Hannah said as she approached, her footsteps soft against the rocky ground. She carried two steaming mugs, offering one to him. "You look like you haven't slept."

Tobi took the mug, the warmth seeping into his hands. "Hard to sleep when everything's still so uncertain."

Hannah sipped her drink, her eyes scanning the camp. "You think it's over? The Sentinel, the ruins… all of it?"

Tobi shook his head. "No. The Sentinel was just one piece of something bigger. I think there's more—pieces we haven't even begun to uncover."
