The room fell silent. Tobi's expression remained grim. Though Erwin's actions were clarified, it didn't erase the fact that the Council had manipulated them all

Neon frowned. "Erwin may not be a traitor, but he still followed the Council's orders without question. Can we trust him to work with us now?"

Hannah crossed her arms. "He was doing his job, just like the rest of us. The real issue is the Council's recklessness. What's our next move?"

Matilda leaned forward, her voice steady. "We need to secure the shard and ensure it doesn't fall into the cultists' hands, for that matter. At the same time, we need to uncover what the cultists are really after and why the shard is so important to them."

Tobi clenched his fists, his thoughts racing. "What about Erwin? If he's been dealing with the cultists as part of his mission, he might have information we can use. But convincing him to cooperate won't be easy."
