The air in the Vanguard base felt heavier in the wake of Captain Erwin's exposure. His betrayal sent shockwaves through the ranks, and though he was now in custody, the questions he left unanswered loomed over everyone.

Tobi, Hannah, Moritaka, and Neon gathered in Matilda's quarters, the captured cultists' map spread across the table before them.

Matilda tapped the map with her finger. "These marked locations... they're all near the ruins we've scouted before. The cultists have been working in the shadows longer than we thought."

Tobi leaned closer, his eyes scanning the map. "And they all lead back to the same central point, the site where we found the shard."

"Which means they aren't done," Neon added. "If anything, this was just the beginning."

Matilda nodded grimly. "We need to understand what they're after. If the shard is part of some larger plan, we have to stop it."
