Eli looked at the silver box with a smile, already in a good mood. "Give me something nice," he muttered.

A silver glow appeared on Eli's hand before abruptly vanishing. Nothing prepared him for the appearance of a small rectangular box in his hand, adorned with festive ribbons and carefully wrapped in shiny silver foil.
Eli recognized the box immediately as the Gift Box from the system starter's pack that had given him the skill Time Freeze. Cautiously, he lifted the present, feeling its perfect weight balance in his hands. It was exactly the same Gift Box he had received from the system. Gradually, he unwrapped the exterior layer, saying a silent prayer, revealing a rich purple card underneath. Embossed upon its smooth finish was an ominous skull design, framed elegantly by stylized lettering identifying its classification: Rare.
Eli gasped, his blood pumping. It was a skill card, and the last rare skill card had given him the overpowered skill Time Freeze. Just what would this skill card give him?
Another contraption materialized nearby, drawing Eli's attention—a rotating disk fitted with a single compartment intended to accommodate the freshly obtained treasure. Mechanisms hummed quietly as he inserted the card, initiating a spinning motion until it finally came to rest. Mesmerized, he awaited the outcome of this random selection process. Time ticked away before settling on the final result.

Eli suddenly vanished as if erased from reality. He could still perceive his surroundings, feeling like he was wearing some kind of invisibility cloak. Testing the skill, he walked forward, but there was no crunching sound from the leaves. It was clearly a great skill—perfect for an assassin.
"The skill truly deserves the tag 'Rare,'" Eli thought. Now, he had two skills that opponents wouldn't be able to predict or counteract.
After 30 seconds, Eli reappeared just as he had vanished, like the fabric of reality was pushed back to reveal his figure.

A wall of shadow materialized in front of Eli. It was his height and wider, able to be used as a standard shield. Eli felt like he had grown another limb. He moved the shadow wall to the right, then to the left, and upwards to a height of 6 feet. When he tried to move it further, nothing happened. He could only move it 6 feet away from him.

Eli took a deep breath and steadied himself.
