Selene waited for Agnes to take the boxes with her new shoes and then walked to the door so Lucas would follow with her other guards.

If they left Lucinda alone, Selene knew Lucinda would surely make herself look a fool.

Lucinda didn't try to approach Selene again since she was concerned about the guards. Seeing Selene be so protected Lucinda started to wonder why she wasn't walking around with guards as well so she could be protected in these moments.
