Vivienne stood still, contemplating if she wanted to stop Xavier or to let him kill Darius so she would finally be free. She heard the guards coming since Darius's voice was travelling outside the room.

A blood-curdling scream erupted from Darius as Xavier mercilessly dug his nails into Darius's eye socket. The cry echoed through the halls, alarming more guards. The guards rushed towards the source of the commotion, their footsteps pounding like thunder as they raced to intervene.

Vivienne thought of her not having a son yet so should Darius somehow die here, she would be replaced as queen.

Vivienne acted fast to close the doors before the guards got to them and went to Xavier's side before he could succeed in harming Darius even more.

Vivienne went to Xavier's side to tug on his arm to stop him from harming Darius. Darius's cry continued to fill the room as he covered his right eye with his hand.
