An entire village of about twenty or so Mankeys embarked on the perilous journey through the harsh desert for this supposed paradise.
By all logic, no sane creature would ever believe that this 'paradise' was something real in the first place.
They had been promised that it was a place where they could drink all the water they needed at any moment. They were told that if they lived there, they would never have to worry about going to sleep while being hungry.
But perhaps the most unbelievable of all things was that anyone could obtain these privileges without having to pay for them at all. They just had to contribute their talents to the village.
This group of Mankeys shouldn't have believed this story.
It was too good to be true.
But desperation had a way of making even the most impossible seem worth chasing. The water they had stored for the village had dried up, and it didn't seem like it would rain any time soon.
