As the days went by, the Orcs continued their secret enjoyment of the baseball games. They chanced upon each other so many times that they had started to get accustomed to each other's company and were no longer wary.
Now, they just silently enjoyed the baseball games not as Orcupine Orcs or Orcanine Orcs, but simply as fans of the game.
They began to see themselves in the crowds on the other side of the fence, with both humans and demi-humans cheering side by side, without any kind of discrimination or prejudice against each other.
Eventually, it became their wish to someday become a part of that crowd. To be in the stands and experience the game right in front of their very eyes, and enjoy it with thousands of other like-minded people. It made them crave that kind of culture.
"It's that young lady again," the Orcupine Orc muttered to himself, but loud enough for the Orcanine to hear it as well.
