Chapter 195: The Battle Underground in the Village

"Grandpa Sage, leave Sasuke to me alone."

"…I understand."

Hearing Naruto's firm words, Fukasaku Sage, who had been perched on Naruto's shoulder, jumped to the ground. Catching the large scroll Naruto tossed to him, he warned, "Little Naruto, don't be careless. I can feel it—he's overflowing with an extremely cold and violent chakra. He's very powerful."

"Leave it to me. Only I can bring Sasuke back."

As Fukasaku Sage left, Naruto released the shadow clone he had maintained and stepped forward toward Sasuke.

Watching Naruto walk toward him without hesitation, Sasuke said flatly, "Well… since you insist on stopping me, I'll use you to show Konoha my resolve for revenge."

Sasuke also advanced. Their steps grew faster, synchronized as if by instinct. Soon, their vision narrowed to focus only on each other.

Zzzzzz!—As they entered striking range, Sasuke drew his Kusanagi Sword, now cloaked in lightning. The walls around them cracked and crumbled as though cut through like butter.

The Chidori Blade swept toward Naruto, but Naruto flipped forward just in time, dodging the slash. He closed the distance with a somersault and struck downward with his ankle toward Sasuke.

Boom! The impact was met with a hard resistance. Naruto's eyes widened as he realized Sasuke had formed a purple skeletal rib cage engulfed in flames to shield himself.

"Is this… Sasuke's new power?" Naruto murmured. He could sense that Sasuke's chakra had grown colder and even more ominous.

Whoosh! Before Naruto could react further, a massive skeletal arm burst out of the ribs and swung at him like a fist. At the same moment, Sasuke swept the Chidori Blade backhand, closing in on Naruto from two sides.

With no way to dodge, Naruto gathered natural energy, pivoted, and kicked the ribs with full force: "Sage Art: Frog Kumite!"

Boom! The immense power of Sage Mode, infused with natural energy, cracked Susanoo's ribs and sent Sasuke flying backward.

The Chidori Blade flickered out as Sasuke staggered, but the skeletal fist struck Naruto hard, slamming him into a nearby wall.

"Naruto… you really have gotten stronger," Sasuke admitted as he stood up from the rubble, his crimson Mangekyo Sharingan glowing in the dark corridor. "But you'll never defeat me!"

The air around Sasuke surged as the skeletal form of Susanoo began to take full shape, its ribs and skeletal limbs expanding into a towering, ominous structure.

"Rasengan!" Naruto burst through the smoke, charging at Sasuke with a Rasengan in his hand.

"It's pointless. Nothing can penetrate the ultimate power of the Uchiha clan," Sasuke sneered, easily reading Naruto's moves with the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Susanoo's massive arm slammed down on Naruto, forcing him to leap into the air. But in an instant, Susanoo's other arm stretched out and grabbed Naruto in a crushing grip.

"Naruto!" Fukasaku shouted worriedly from the distance.

"Goodbye," Sasuke said coldly, increasing his grip strength.

Boom! The Naruto in Susanoo's grasp vanished in a puff of smoke—a shadow clone.

"Sage Art: Massive Rasengan Barrage!"

High above, another Naruto descended, wielding two giant Rasengans, one in each hand.

Susanoo's free arm swung up instinctively to block, but the force of the Rasengans shattered its forearm, sending shockwaves throughout the underground corridor.

Rumble! The ribs above Sasuke splintered as Naruto drove his remaining Rasengans directly into Susanoo's chest. The resulting explosion sent cracks spreading through the walls and ceiling.

Shua! Naruto landed, panting, his chakra nearly depleted. He had to finish this quickly.

Suddenly, his senses screamed a warning. Without hesitation, he leapt away—just as black flames erupted where he had been standing.

"This is…" Naruto's eyes narrowed as he recognized the technique. "Amaterasu…"

He remembered Jiraiya explaining how Itachi had burned through a toad's stomach wall with these inextinguishable flames. "But this was Itachi's ability… How does Sasuke—"

Whoosh! Naruto's thoughts were interrupted as black flames flared up wherever he moved, forcing him to keep dodging.

In the smoke, Sasuke gritted his teeth, blood and tears trickling down his face. The Mangekyo Sharingan exacted its toll. "This ends now!"

Sasuke rose to his feet, channeling his last reserves of chakra and pupil power. Susanoo began to reform, now taking on its fully armored Third form. Its wrist-mounted bow materialized, readying a light arrow wrapped in black flames.

"I won't let you stop me, Naruto!"

"I'll stop you no matter what, Sasuke!"

Naruto leapt forward, forming two shadow clones. Together, they channeled chakra into his hand, creating a massive Wind Style: Rasenshuriken.

Thrum! Sasuke's Susanoo released its light arrow, while Naruto hurled his Rasenshuriken with all his might.

Boom!—The two attacks collided in a blinding explosion of light and chakra. The underground chamber shook violently, and the entire section of the village above trembled.

The expanding white light engulfed everything—Naruto, Sasuke, Fukasaku, and the crumbling corridor…
