Chapter 201: Goodbye Konan

"Kyuubi? Is that something ordinary people can control? Can it really be done?" TenTen asked in surprise upon hearing Naruto's bold statement.

Although she hadn't witnessed it firsthand, she'd heard about the destruction the Nine Tails caused during its rampage in the village. It was said that the Fourth Hokage had died sealing it. Coupled with the terrifying battle between the Gedo Mazo and Little Leopard in the previous attack, she deeply understood the sheer power of such a beast.

It was hard to imagine that Naruto could control such a monster. If he failed, the consequences would be disastrous.

Naruto replied confidently, "No problem! Pervy Sage believes in me, and if I want to bring Sasuke back, I have to succeed!"

"Then do you have a training plan yet?" Kirito asked.

"Well…" Naruto scratched his head awkwardly. "The Pervy Sage wants me to take control of the seal key and gradually release the Nine Tails to master its power."

"If you lose control, won't you just go berserk?" TenTen asked worriedly.

"Yeah, that's the tricky part," Naruto admitted with a sigh.

Originally, Jiraiya had considered asking Yamato or Kirito to act as safety nets in case Naruto went berserk. But this kind of training drained Naruto's energy and life force, requiring a long recovery period even if he managed to suppress the Nine Tails. The plan wasn't ideal, so they decided to prioritize training in Sage Mode before seeking a better method.

Near noon, as Naruto and Kirito were still training, Jiraiya appeared on the practice field again.

"Pervy Sage! Where did you go?!" Naruto shouted, pointing an accusing finger at Jiraiya, who looked bruised and battered. "Weren't you supposed to help me train in Sage Mode?"

"Still full of energy, I see. Kirito, you're not being hard enough on him," Jiraiya teased, ignoring Naruto's complaints.

"If I hadn't been healing him constantly, he wouldn't even be standing," Kirito shot back with a grin.

Jiraiya smirked and thought, Even with his determination, getting punched still hurts, huh?

Then he said, "Cheer up, Naruto. I've got some good news for you."

"Really?!" Naruto's eyes lit up. "Did you find a way for me to train, Pervy Sage?!"

"That's right. After discussing with Tsunade, I've decided to take you somewhere perfect for your training."

"Where?!"

"Cloud Village."

"Cloud Village? You mean…?"

Naruto's eyes widened as he realized Jiraiya was talking about one of the Five Great Ninja Villages, much like Konoha.

"Exactly," Jiraiya nodded. "Cloud Village also possesses tailed beasts, and their Jinchuriki are known for achieving perfect control over their beasts. Their methods are unique, so we decided to seek their help to train you."

"Really?! That's awesome!" Naruto jumped in excitement.

However, TenTen frowned and asked, "Will Cloud Village really agree to help? After all, controlling tailed beasts is a strategic advantage. Why would they share such secrets with Konoha?"

Her words sobered Naruto, who looked expectantly at Jiraiya, trusting that he wouldn't suggest this plan without a solution.

"Don't worry," Jiraiya assured. "Tsunade is already negotiating with the Raikage. We'll have an answer in a few days. In the meantime, I'll take you to Mount Myoboku to hand over the seal key for the Nine Tails."

"Alright!" Naruto said with determination.

As Naruto and Jiraiya left the training ground, Naruto's face radiated enthusiasm for the challenges ahead.

Watching their departing figures, TenTen sighed in envy. "Naruto's going to get stronger again…"

She felt her own strength had reached a bottleneck. While her combination of weapons and space-time ninjutsu was formidable, it paled compared to the abilities of the Akatsuki members or the overwhelming power displayed by Naruto and Kirito.

"Don't compare yourself to them," Kirito said, resting a hand on her shoulder. "As long as you keep improving step by step, you'll get there. Sage Mode requires immense chakra reserves and has its limitations. There's something out there that's better suited for you."

"Alright," TenTen replied, stretching and pulling out a scroll. "Let's continue our practice. I just thought of a new move…"

The two resumed their training, unaware of a delicate paper butterfly fluttering among the flowers nearby.

Late at night, the practice field was silent, save for the distant sounds of frogs and insects. Under the moonlit sky, Kirito stood beneath a large tree, watching the same paper butterfly circling the flowers in a repetitive trajectory.

With a faint rustle, countless paper fragments emerged from behind the tree, assembling themselves into the form of a graceful woman with light blue hair—Konan.

As the final piece settled, Kirito said calmly, "It's been a while. You're bold to come here at a time like this."

"I'm not here to attack Konoha. I came for you," Konan replied softly. "Since you came alone, I assume you know why I'm here."

"For the body of 'Deva Path,' right?"

"Yes," Konan nodded. "That body belonged to Yahiko, one of my most precious partners. I need to take him back to rest… along with Nagato."

"Fine, but you'll have to give me something in return."

Without hesitation, Konan pulled a scroll from her sleeve. "This contains Madara's next plan. I'm sure you and Konoha will find it valuable."
