Chapter 103 Banquet at Night

Chapter 103 Banquet at Night

Faced with the disastrous shockwave, Smoker no longer held back.

The nine-headed black dragon roared towards the sky, with its nine massive heads meeting the crimson and white shockwave head-on, pressing against it with all its might.

The tremendous impact stirred up a fierce wind, sweeping across the entire island. For a moment, all the beasts on the island went completely silent, as though paralyzed with fear.

Brogy's "Haki City" was a full-force Haki attack, and the nine-headed dragon was slowed considerably by the onslaught.

However, darkness was infinite, and in the end, the dragon overpowered the attack, violently tearing Brogy's strike apart.

One of the dragon's heads crashed into Brogy with tremendous force.

He quickly raised his axe, covering it with Haki to block, but was still sent flying through the air, landing hard on the ground with a violent tremor that shook the earth.

Sanai, sensing the quake, slowly regained consciousness and suddenly shot up, her eyes wide open in confusion.

On the left, there was a bird twice her size.

"Nani?!" she exclaimed.

Turning to the right, she saw Dorry seriously watching the battle.

"Nani?!!"

She rolled over and noticed Brogy lying defeated on the ground and Smoker controlling the massive nine-headed dragon like a god.

"Nani?!!!"

Dorry shot her a disapproving glance.

The little eagle, who had been on top of Sanai, sat on her again, urging her to be quiet.

Smoker wasn't going to show mercy.

"Brogy, how about we call it a day? If this continues, your weapon will be destroyed!"

After all, it wasn't a fight to the death—there was no need for it to be a battle to the finish.

"Aah, ah, ah..." Brogy groaned as he sat up, glancing at his axe, which had several deep scars from the attack. Despite the pain, he smiled and said, "You win! I've never seen such a terrifying power before!"

Smoker gave a slight smile.

"That's because you've never seen the Admirals in action. This is just a small scene..."

"About that second option you mentioned... don't you want to give it a try?"

"Clap, clap, clap! As a pirate, there's no way I'd shame myself by accepting the victor's treasure!" Brogy exclaimed, grinning broadly. "Whether it's that guy or my life, they're both yours!"

Smoker reached out, and the nine-headed dragon slowly retreated back into the darkness.

The darkness settled, becoming as still as a pool of water.

"That said," Smoker smirked, "I'm sure you won't refuse my treasure!"

"Release!"

From the darkness, hundreds of large barrels floated up.

These were spoils Smoker had obtained from a minor pirate crew.

Brogy stared, his eyes widening in surprise, and he could smell the treasure. Without hesitation, he scrambled toward them.

"This really is treasure!" he shouted. "You're right! I'll never let go of this, no matter what!"

He grabbed two barrels of liquor, holding them like mugs, and immediately began drinking, letting out a contented sigh.

"Ah!! This is the taste of heaven..." he said, throwing several barrels over to Dorry.

Dorry eagerly opened one, chugging it down in one go.

"Clap, clap! This is some fine liquor! We've got to throw a party today!"

The others cheered. "Ohh!!"

In the center of the jungle, several people started a bonfire towering several stories high, arranging rows of liquor barrels, and began drinking and singing.

"Clap, clap, clap! I haven't drunk this happily in a long time! I'm @#@¥#"

"Ha ha, today we'll #¥#¥%"

The two giants hugged each other, drinking and chatting with each other, laughing and crying, with large snot and tears occasionally flying around.

Normally, they didn't have enough liquor to drink, but today, they were making the most of it.

Smoker, rarely letting his guard down, also indulged in the feast, eating and drinking with the others.

Even the little eagle was drinking heavily, surprisingly holding its liquor well.

Despite holding a piece of roasted meat, Sanai looked disheartened, not touching a drop of alcohol.

Smoker took a bite of his meat, speaking with his mouth full.

"Sanai, don't be so down. Losing to the giant captain isn't something to be ashamed of!"

Brogy noticed the situation and chuckled.

"Kid, it's just one loss! A true warrior doesn't fear failure, hic!"

Sanai, still young, flushed with embarrassment upon hearing this.

"Who said I lost?! I was just unprepared!!"

"I'm a sniper, who knew you'd be so big and sneaky, sneaking up on me without making a sound!!"

Brogy scoffed dismissively.

"What kind of warrior gets snuck up on? I just struck first!"

"Besides, with that toothpick of yours, there's no way you'd hurt me!!"

"What?!" Sanai felt deeply insulted and immediately pulled out his sniper rifle.

"Today, I'll show you all what I'm really capable of!!"

Ignoring the others' warnings, he climbed up a tall tree.

Smoker squinted, scanning the surroundings.

It was dark now, and all he could see was a pitch-black night.

Although he could sense the presence of animals around him, he couldn't distinguish what they were.

Dorry and Brogy were in the same boat...

Sanai glanced around, quickly targeting two spots. He fired one shot in each direction, then jumped down.

"Left, 300 meters. I shot a rabbit right between the eyes. On the right, a dinosaur, I pierced its heart!!"

"Oh?!" The others were intrigued and quickly grabbed torches to check the areas he pointed out.

Sure enough, 300 meters to the left, a rabbit lay on the ground with a bullet wound through its forehead, its skull torn open.

To the right, a massive dinosaur lay lifeless, a tiny hole punctured its enormous body, right through its chest.

Dorry held up his torch, inspecting the wound on the dinosaur.

"Such a tiny hole..."

The bullet hole was about the size of a peanut, but on the dinosaur's giant body, it looked like a mere pinprick.

Sanai fiddled with the bullet in his hand.

"This is my custom-made bullet. Long range and powerful penetration!"

Then he kicked the dinosaur's body.

"As long as you hit the vital spot, no matter how big the target, the size of the wound doesn't matter!"

Brogy burst into laughter.

"Clap, clap, clap Is that so? Looks like I owe my life to you!!"

Smoker glanced at Brogy but didn't say much.

This guy actually has quite a high emotional intelligence...

The bullet's penetration was impressive, but it was still far from enough to deal with Brogy.

Not to mention his Observation Haki and Armament Haki, his physical strength alone was on a completely different level from any dinosaur.

The group returned to the campfire, and the atmosphere lightened considerably.

Perhaps because he had impressed the strong ones, Sanai's spirits were lifted, and the mood became much livelier.

The group continued to eat, drink, and have fun, quickly getting a little tipsy.

After a few rounds of drinks, Smoker slapped Sanai on the shoulder.

"Hic Kid, where did you learn that shooting technique?"

"Even in the elite Navy headquarters, your marksmanship would be considered top-notch!"

Sanai took a sip of his drink, his expression turning a little sad.

"Heh... a foolish pirate hunter taught me."

Dorry and Brogy suddenly stiffened.

[Navy... Headquarters?]
