Diana ran toward Chase to celebrate, but her silver eyes flickered with curiosity as she turned to Heimdall, who was still trembling on his knees while Ares berated him for failing to defend.
"What did you do to him?" she asked.
Chase casually adjusted his wristband, glancing at Heimdall with mild disinterest. "He has foresight, but if he tries to use it on either of us, it won't work. Yours is because of your paradoxical nature. As for me—" he tapped his temple, "I'm the god of possibility. He saw too much. Didn't I tell you? The only reason my brain can handle my powers is because of my domain of focus. He, on the other hand…" Chase trailed off, watching as Heimdall continued to mutter incoherently, his mind shattered from what he had just witnessed.
