Game End

Leto watched the chaotic scene on the field unfold with a small smile. Her daughter, Diana, was playing fiercely, scoring goal after goal, and her son-in-law, Chase, was equally intense. She noted the serious and emotionless expression on Chase's face—something she had never quite seen before. It was curious. Diana, on the other hand, was grinning and effortlessly controlling the game. Alice, too, was on fire, taking full advantage of her agility and skill, all while making the game look fun and effortless.

She tilted her head, noticing that Diana's words seemed to be provoking Ares. With each taunt, his anger seemed to spike more and more, culminating in yet another goal for Diana. Leto couldn't help but wonder what Diana was saying to get under his skin so effectively. Was it all part of the game? Or was Diana enjoying something more sinister?
