As they exited the elevator, Diana noticed the lack of people around. But the moment they stepped outside, the cold wind hit them, and the campus was eerily empty—like a ghost town.
Diana frowned. "Is today a holiday?" She turned to Lila for answers.
Lila smirked. "The new headmaster is giving a speech in the auditorium."
Diana didn't like how smug she looked, but she did notice Alice seemed a bit nervous. She didn't question it. However, when they reached the front of the auditorium, Chase—snapping out of his zombie-like state—and Diana instinctively turned their rings into bows, their gazes sharp with suspicion.
