Zoya's POV
"Don't these guards sleep or change position?" I groaned as I sat on the bare floor in the hidden part of the massive courtyard.
I had followed up their arrangements for two days but it seemed like when I was prepared to leave, the arrangement had changed.
There were more active guards and servants were hanging by every tree and shades in the courtyard. It looked so difficult for me to escape.
"I need to leave if I want to arrive early." I reminded myself, holding unto the small bag across my shoulder.
I looked at the token and smiled. "Maybe this could help me in some part but I mustn't look suspicious."
My eyes wandered around the corners until it dropped at an unimaginable dog hole.
"This…" And apart from the dog hole that could be used for escape, there was also a netty basket.
