"Did we just get sent out directly?" Ye Qiugao looked down at the landscape below, still in disbelief.

"It seems like we survived," Huang Jintian frowned and thought for a moment, "This trip was truly a close call. I thought I was going to fall in there."

Even someone as self-assured as him couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy.

Long Buyu let out a sigh of relief, feeling a sense of gratitude toward Kent while also realizing how risky this venture had been. He had known it was a dangerous mission, but he hadn't expected things to get so bad.

"Long Buyu, what exactly did you do in Sheep's Horn Mountain?"

Once the three of them had recovered, Ye Qiugao, dissatisfied, asked.

Huang Jintian also directed his gaze toward Long Buyu.

"Hmph, what does it have to do with you two? It's already a great mercy that I didn't track you down," Long Buyu replied, his face darkening.

Such words would usually be imposing to their peers, but for Ye Qiugao and Huang Jintian, it seemed almost meaningless. Both of them were exceptional in their own right, and their family backgrounds were powerful, as they were heirs to major corporate empires.

"Long Buyu, don't push it. I'm asking you a question," Ye Qiugao retorted coldly.

Huang Jintian, still composed, stood by silently, clearly siding with Ye Qiugao.

Long Buyu ground his teeth. With the loss of his beast, the exotic Fire Kirin, his strength had decreased significantly. He was now no match for the two of them, and even getting out of this place had become a problem.

Seeing no way out, Long Buyu was about to speak when a light breeze suddenly swept past him. The three of them sensed it and turned to see.

"Kent?" They exclaimed as Kent appeared before them.

Kent, seeing the three of them still waiting, wasn't surprised. He nodded slightly and said, "Greetings, everyone. Kent here, fulfilling my promise. I saved your lives from certain death. Were you all waiting here to thank me?"

Ye Qiugao and Huang Jintian, momentarily taken aback, exchanged looks. Kent was bold to the point of being shameless. They had no intention of thanking him—if it weren't for Kent's interference, the two of them might have escaped through their own means, and they wouldn't have been confined for three days.

Fortunately, nothing significant had been lost, aside from being confined for three days. Otherwise, they would have likely taken matters into their own hands and confronted Kent.

"Hmph, thanks to you, we survived the disaster. I should thank you for making me spend three days locked up for nothing," Ye Qiugao snorted coldly.

Huang Jintian narrowed his eyes, saying nothing, but his displeasure was unmistakable.

Kent remained unaffected on the surface, but he couldn't help but add, "Since you weren't waiting for me, you can leave now. Long Buyu, you should remember what you said earlier, don't you? Or should I remind you?"

"Kent, no need. I'm a man, and admitting that I acknowledged you as my older brother isn't something to be ashamed of," Long Buyu said boldly, no longer avoiding the topic. In truth, after losing his exotic Fire Kirin, his confidence had significantly dropped. The arrogance he had shown while riding the exotic Fire Kirin in the Mowling Secret Realm was now nowhere to be seen.

Kent nodded with a satisfied expression and said, "Come with me. As a younger brother, my actions should always follow my older brother's lead. I'll explain things more clearly on the way."

Kent, still not entirely trusting Ye Qiugao and Huang Jintian, added, "Brothers, we've been through a lot without turning hostile, so perhaps it's time to reflect on your attitude. Moreover, it's not safe to stay here. We should leave quickly. The Fire Kirin may come out and stretch its legs soon. If it sees you two still lingering here, I'm afraid no one can guarantee your safety."

Kent grabbed Long Buyu and jumped down, but instead of falling, he glided through the air. He then summoned Garfield, enlarging the creature's form.

"Get on," Kent called out.

Long Buyu obediently jumped onto Garfield's back, and in the blink of an eye, Garfield leaped into the air, covering a distance of about 200 meters in one bound. In the rugged terrain of Mowling, Garfield moved with ease, as if it were flat ground.

Before long, Kent and Long Buyu disappeared from sight.

Huang Jintian and Ye Qiugao exchanged glances, but as usual, Huang Jintian said nothing and chose to leave as well.

"Huang Jintian, aren't you going to go back inside and check?" Ye Qiugao asked, unwilling to let go.

"Hmph, if you want to go, you go. Don't drag me into your mess," Huang Jintian said, leaving the words behind before walking off without a second glance.

Ye Qiugao stomped his foot, tempted to sneak back into the secret realm to investigate, but in the end, he didn't have the guts and chose to leave.

This entire journey had been an unpleasant one for them both. They had followed Long Buyu into the Mowling Secret Realm with the hope of uncovering some secrets. However, Long Buyu was cautious and had managed to shake them off for a long time. After entering the secret realm, he continued to hide his tracks, taking them on a wild goose chase. By the time they finally caught up with him, they had unknowingly triggered the awakening of the massive Fire Kirin.

In the end, Ye Qiugao was left with nothing, even coming close to losing his life. He felt utterly cheated.

Huang Jintian's situation was similar, but he swallowed his pride and let it go. Still, he couldn't understand. They were heirs of prominent families with immense power. How could they be afraid of Kent and Long Buyu? In his mind, they should have given them a good lesson to vent their frustration.

Now, Long Buyu explained the entire backstory to Kent. Several years ago, he had joined a mercenary group and came to Mowling to train. During that time, he secretly ventured into Sheep's Horn Mountain and stole a massive egg. After hatching it, he bonded with an exotic Fire Kirin, which helped him rise to prominence with his impressive abilities.

This time, feeling confident in his strength, Long Buyu decided to take another chance. He knew there was a slumbering behemoth inside, but with a bit of luck, he hoped to get another giant egg and enhance his power further. If he succeeded, he would have two top-tier beasts, and any major corporation would take notice.

However, things didn't go as planned. Somehow, his actions had leaked, and before he even entered the secret realm, he was already being tracked by Ye Qiugao and Huang Jintian. To escape them, Long Buyu had to outwit them, setting traps and making them suffer a bit. Eventually, when he thought it was safe, he proceeded to take the risk and try to achieve his goal.

But in the end, fate had other plans. The massive creature awoke, and the two giant eggs had turned into two exotic Fire Kirins.

The most critical mistake was that Long Buyu, thinking he had hidden his presence well, had unknowingly carried the distinct scent of the exotic Fire Kirin. The moment the Fire Kirin sensed it, Long Buyu had no choice but to reveal himself and flee in panic.
