The Three Great Heavens

Li Wanfeng was also stunned. He speculated, "I don't know, maybe Kent released his beast and accidentally broke the glass."

Since there was a half-wall between the living room and the dining area, they couldn't see what exactly happened in the living room.

"Yeah, that must be it," Qian Zhenqian said dismissively. It was just a broken glass cup, nothing serious.

The two continued drinking and chatting, enjoying their time together.

Suddenly, a strange burnt smell wafted through the air. They looked up and saw firelight and thick black smoke emerging from the living room.

"Fire?"

Both of them jumped, their calm quickly evaporating. They immediately stood up to check.

Qian Zhenqian's face turned serious. "What is Kent doing? He's getting too reckless. This is my house."

Li Wanfeng's face darkened. If this fire was Kent's doing, it would be an embarrassment.

They hurried to the living room and saw shattered glass all over the floor. A long couch was on fire, burning fiercely. Kent, however, was sitting calmly on a nearby armchair, eating meat and drinking wine as if nothing was happening. He paid no attention to the fire surrounding him.

On the opposite armchair, a small fire dragon, about a meter long, was angrily roaring at Kent. The dragon was breathing flames, but it was too scared to breathe them at Kent. It kept spraying fire at the floor, sofa, walls, and coffee table, spreading flames everywhere.

Qian Zhenqian and Li Wanfeng were dumbfounded. A fire dragon? Where did that come from?

"Wait, no way. Has Kent really hatched the fire dragon egg in less than ten minutes?" Both of them were visibly shocked.

Kent, sensing their presence, turned around. With meat in his mouth and an innocent look on his face, he mumbled, "Uncle Qian, don't misunderstand. The fire wasn't caused by me. I had nothing to do with it."

Qian Zhenqian gave him a helpless, bitter smile. The fire might not have been started by Kent, but how could it not be related to him?

Of course, with Kent having hatched the fire dragon for him, even if he had a hundred grievances, Qian Zhenqian couldn't bring himself to express them.

Li Wanfeng frowned slightly and said, "Kent, calm down. This is a bit too much."

Kent wasn't willing to take the blame. He defended himself, "Uncle Li, how can you say that? This really isn't my fault. It was Uncle Qian who said I could just take a look. I did exactly what he asked me to."

"I just took a quick look, and out popped the fire dragon. It's Uncle Qian's beast. If it wants to set things on fire, it's not up to me to stop it. Plus, Uncle Qian said it was fine for me to take a look, so I just let the fire dragon do its thing."

Kent's reasoning, though a bit far-fetched, somehow made sense, and neither Qian Zhenqian nor Li Wanfeng could find a way to refute him.

Qian Zhenqian sighed with a bitter smile, stopping Li Wanfeng from continuing to defend him. He knew Kent was upset because he didn't believe in his abilities. This fire was the result of his own doubts.

"Wanfeng, stop. I misjudged Kent. This fire is my own fault," Qian Zhenqian said, smiling wryly. He turned to Kent and said solemnly, "Kent, I underestimated you. I owe you an apology."

Kent had achieved what he wanted and wasn't about to push his advantage further. "Uncle Qian, I was being mischievous."

"Don't say that. You helped me hatch the fire dragon. I'm really grateful," Qian Zhenqian waved his hand. "As we agreed before, I'll sell you the first six layers of the Storm Combat Art at an 80% discount. And about the Red Fire Mine, I'll do everything I can to help you."

Seeing how sincere he was, Kent couldn't refuse. He smiled and said, "Thank you, Uncle Qian."

Li Wanfeng chuckled helplessly. "Congratulations, Senior Qian, on obtaining a Saint-tier beast. It's getting late, and you still need to contract the fire dragon. Kent and I won't keep you."

Qian Zhenqian nodded, casually summoning a gust of wind to extinguish the fire in the living room. Another gust picked up the fire dragon and confined it beside him.

"Kent, I'll help you with the Red Fire Mine in a few days. But please keep the fire dragon's existence a secret," Qian Zhenqian said.

"Of course," Li Wanfeng promised, and then he pulled Kent out.

Once the two of them left, Qian Zhenqian didn't care about the damage in the living room. After all, the housekeeper would clean up later. He kept the fire dragon bound and began to contract it.

In the car, Li Wanfeng lit a cigarette and after a while, asked, "Kent, is your beast master ability really this impressive?"

Kent had expected this question. After all, anyone who encountered such an event would be shocked.

"Maybe it's just my exceptional talent. Even I'm amazed by myself. I don't even know where my limits are," Kent said modestly, although he was secretly proud of his achievements.

Li Wanfeng furrowed his brow, looking at Kent with a speechless expression.

Finally, he said, "This ability of yours is incredible. You could create many legends, but I hope you use it cautiously. Don't bring misfortune upon yourself."

"I understand. 'Don't flaunt your wealth, it invites disaster.' I'll be careful in the future," Kent nodded.

Li Wanfeng settled down and continued, "Kent, I actually have a problem. I might need your help with your abilities."

"Please tell me, Uncle Li."

"It's like this: I've contracted five beasts in total. One, the Golden-Furred Fire Tiger, died in battle. Another, the Three-Eyed Eagle, was eaten by a Golden Crow. One, the Shell-Shaped Sword Shark, died of illness."

"Now I have two beasts left. One is a Heavenly-tier low-grade Flying Wolf, which has been with me for over ten years. It evolved twice from a mid-grade Golden-tier beast, but its potential is now exhausted. It can't evolve anymore."

"The other is a Heavenly-tier high-grade Dark Ghost Bird, which comes from the Ghost Realm. It's struggling to adapt to Earthstar's environment, so it's leveling very slowly. I've been taking it back to the Ghost Realm every year for some time. I've contracted it for ten years, but it's only level 63."

"So, I want you to take a look at these two beasts. Can you help me with that?" Li Wanfeng asked, his voice full of anticipation.

The Ghost Realm was a truly large alternate dimension.

On Earthstar, alternate spaces had different classifications. Spaces with one to four stars were called "Secret Realms," like the two-star Bull Horn Mountain Secret Realm, the three-star Mowling Secret Realm, and the four-star Little Mountain Secret Realm.

Spaces with five to seven stars were named after their specific characteristics, like the six-star Fire Space and Dark Space.

Eight to nine-star spaces were called "Realms," such as the Ghost Realm, which was an eight-star realm.

As for ten-star spaces, Earthstar only had three of them, and they were named "Heavens." These were the "Ten Thousand Dragons Heaven," "Hell Heaven," and "Gods Heaven."

What exactly these three heavens were like remained a mystery, as only the Inspector-General had entered them, and even then, only briefly. No one, not even the Inspectors, dared to fully explore these realms for fear of awakening terrifying beings within.
