Say Something...

Evelina stared into Damian's silver eyes, her breath hitching as his words hung in the air.

"If you don't want this to go any further, you need to say something. Now."

The pull between them was undeniable, a magnetic force fueled by the full moon and the mate bond. Evelina opened her mouth to respond, but the words didn't come.

Instead, her body betrayed her, leaning into the tension that had been building between them all night.

Damian's gaze darkened with desire as he took her silence as an answer. His hand moved slowly, brushing against her cheek, his thumb tracing the curve of her jaw. Evelina shivered at his touch, her breath coming faster.

"Eve," he murmured in a low and rough voice, sending a thrill down her spine. "Say something."

But she couldn't.

Or maybe she didn't want to.

In the next moment, Damian closed the distance between them, his lips capturing hers in a kiss that was both soft and demanding.
